The .BK (Bundeskriminalamt) and .LPD (LandesPolizeiDirektion) message, "WARNUNG! Zugang von Ihrem persönlichen Computer wurde vorläufig aus den unten aufgelisteten Gründen gesperrt", blocks the computer desktop and demands payment of a 100 Euro fine using paysafecard or Ukash to unblock it.

This is a scam. The message should not be trusted, since it is not sent by any legitimate authorities from Austria - this is a ransomware virus created by cyber criminals.

The main purpose of this deceptive message is to extort money from unsuspecting PC users who believe the text asserting that they have committee law violations (such as watching child pornography, distributing copyrighted content, etc.), and must pay a fine in order to unblock their computers.

What is Služba Kriminální Policie?

The Služba Kriminální Policie a Vyšetřování message, "VAROVÁNÍ! Váš osobní počítač je uzamčen z bezpečnostních důvodů z následujících důvodů", blocks the user's computer screen and demands payment of a 200 CZK fine using paysafecard or Ukash.

This is a scam and the message should not be trusted since it is not sent by any legitimate authorities from the Czech Republic - it is a ransomware virus created by cyber criminals.

This deceptive message makes fake accusations of law infringements such as watching pornography involving minors, distributing copyrighted content, etc. in order to scare unsuspecting PC users into paying a bogus fine. Note that paying the 200 CZK fine is equivalent to sending your money to cyber criminals.

Ransomware viruses are computer infections, which block users' desktops and disable all Windows features that would otherwise allow termination of the rogue message.

What is Nemzeti Nyomozó Iroda?

The following message is a scam, which blocks computer screens and demands payment of a HUF 25000 fine using paysafecard: Nemzeti Nyomozó Iroda and Nemzeti Védelmi Szolgálat Országos Rendőr-főkapitányságl, "FIGYELEM! A számítógépe meg van blokkolva a biztonsági megfontolásokból a következő okok miatt".

This message is not sent by any legitimate authorities from Hungary, it is a ransomware virus created by cyber criminals and originates from a family called Urausy. The virus infects users' computers via any security vulnerabilities detected within outdated software.

After successful infiltration, the Nemzeti Nyomozó Iroda virus blocks the user's desktop with a fake message making accusations of law violations such as watching pornography involving minors, using pirated copies of music and video files, etc. It also disables the Task Manager and other Windows features.

In fact, none of the 'detected' malware or viruses actually exist on users' PCs - this bogus program mimics detection of various security threats simply to scare computer users into activating the 'full version', which purportedly fixes any computer security issues.

What is System Doctor 2014?

System Doctor 2014 is a fake antivirus program, which imitates detection of various high-risk malware and viruses in order to trick computer users into activating a 'full version'. Cyber criminals responsible for creating this rogue antivirus program charge $99.99 for a 12-month subscription.

Note that paying for the license key of System Doctor 2014 is equivalent to sending your money to cyber criminals. Furthermore, you will divulge your credit card information, which can be used for further theft from your account. This program infiltrates users' operating systems via drive-by downloads and 'exploit kits'.

After successful infiltration, this bogus software imitates legitimate antivirus software and generates a large list of supposedly 'detected' security threats. To remove them, users are encouraged to activate this fake software by paying the bogus fine.

The Police Judiciaire Fédérale message, "ATTENTION! Votre ordinateur personnel est bloqué pour des raisons de sécurité suivantes", is a scam. This computer's screen-blocking message is not sent by legitimate authorities from Belgium, it is a ransomware virus created by cyber criminals.

After infiltrating the user's computer, this ransomware virus blocks the desktop, disables the Task Manager, blocks keyboard shortcuts, etc., and demands payment of a 100 Euro fine using paysafecard or Ukash for alleged law infringements, including watching pornography involving minors, distributing copyrighted content, etc.

Computer users from Belgium should be aware that no legitimate authorities or organizations, internationally, use screen-blocking messages to collect fines for any law violations. Paying the 100 Euro fine is equivalent to sending your money to cyber criminals.

This message is not sent by any legitimate authorities from Switzerland, it is a ransomware virus created by cyber criminals. The main purpose of this deceptive computer screen-blocking message is to scare unsuspecting PC users from Switzerland into paying a bogus CHF 150 fine using paysafecard pre-paid card services.

Cyber criminals responsible for creating this scam make false accusations of law infringements, such as watching pornography involving minors, using pirated copies of video and music files, etc., in order to trick PC users into believing that they must pay a fine to unlock their computers.

What is Live Security Professional?

Live Security Professional is a fake antivirus program, which imitates the processes of legitimate security programs and attempts to trick unsuspecting PC users into purchasing a useless 'full version'.

This software is created by cyber criminals and employs fake security scans and false security warning messages in order to scare computer users into believing that their operating systems are infected with high-risk viruses and malware. In fact, none of the 'security threats' indicated by Live Security Professional actually exist on the user's computer.

This program is a scam, created with the intention of extorting money from computer users. Note that, whilst this program has a professional-looking user interface, there is nothing else relating it to legitimate security scanners.

The security scan results and security warning pop-ups are falsely-generated and Live Security Professional 'detects' identical security infections on all computers infiltrated.
