Nicer Together Ads

What is Nicer Together?
Nicer Together is a bogus application identical to Cash Kitten, Elements Peruse, Generous Deal, and a number of other dubious programs.
This application deceptively claims to enhance the Internet browsing experience by enabling 'valuable features' - "We're passionate about improving web by providing the best tools to enhance the browsing experience, from searching the web to comparing online deals to find the best prices.
We've combined all of our great ideas into the Nicer Together product suite, a FREE set of tools that work to make your browsing experience... better!" These false claims are merely attempts to give the impression of legitimate software, and used to trick users to install.
In fact, Nicer Together is classed as a potentially unwanted adware-type program (PUP) and usually infiltrates systems without users’ consent. Following installation, intrusive online advertisements are displayed and web browsing activity, tracked.
This program uses a 'virtual layer' to generate various advertisements including, for example, banners, pop-ups, coupons, interstitial, transitional, full-page, and search ads. These conceal underlying website content, thereby significantly diminishing the Internet browsing experience.
Some might redirect to malicious websites containing infectious content - clicking them is risky and can lead to further adware or malware infections. As well as displaying intrusive online ads, Nicer Together also records unique identifier numbers, IP addresses, websites visited, pages viewed, search queries, and other similar information relating to Internet browsing activity.
Some of the collected data might be personally identifiable that developers of Nicer Together (SuperWeb LLC) share with third parties (who often misuse private information to generate revenue). Misuse of personally identifiable information can lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft. Therefore, we strongly advise you to uninstall Nicer Together adware immediately.
Nicer Together Privacy Policy statement regarding data collection:
We only share or sell your non-public personal information with non-affiliated third parties when we believe doing so is permitted by you or authorized by this Privacy Policy. In addition, the Company may share your personal information with our parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies without restriction.
SuperWeb LLC has released hundreds of identical adware-type applications. All give fake promises to enhance the Internet browsing experience, however, their real and only purpose is to generate revenue for the developers.
Therefore, rather than enabling any of the functionality promised, Nicer Together, and other apps developed by this company, simply collect personally identifiable information (which is later shared with third parties to generate revenue), and deliver intrusive advertisements (via the 'Pay Per Click’ [PPC] advertising model). Therefore, this app is useless for users.
How did Nicer Together install on my computer?
Research shows that although Nicer Together has an official download website, many users install this application inadvertently via a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling' (stealth installation of bogus programs with regular software/apps), which is used to distribute this adware.
The developers know that many users rush the download/installation processes and skip most/all steps and, therefore, intentionally conceal deceptive applications within the 'Custom/Advanced' settings. Users who carelessly skip this section, often install potentially unwanted programs such as Nicer Together inadvertently.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
There are two main steps you should take to prevent this situation. Firstly, never rush when downloading and installing software - carefully analyze these procedures using the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' settings. Secondly, decline all offers to download/install additional programs and opt-out of those already included, since bundled software is mostly dubious.
