What is Generous Deal?
Developed by SuperWeb LLC, Generous Deal is a dubious app that falsely claims to enhance the Internet browsing experience - "We're passionate about improving web by providing the best tools to enhance the browsing experience, from searching the web to comparing online deals to find the best prices.
We've combined all of our great ideas into the Generous Deal product suite, a FREE set of tools that work to make your browsing experience... better!" These false claims often trick users into believing that Generous Deal is legitimate and useful, however, this app generates intrusive online advertisements and continually monitors browsing activity.
In addition, Generous Deal often infiltrates systems without users’ permission. Therefore, this app is classed as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) and adware.
Generous Deal employs a 'virtual layer' to generate pop-up, coupon, price comparison, interstitial, transitional, full-page, search, banner, and other similar intrusive ads.
