What is Native Info?
Native Info is a dubious application developed by SuperWeb LLC. According to the developers, Native Info significantly improves the Internet browsing experience by providing a number of valuable features - "We're passionate about improving web by providing the best tools to enhance the browsing experience, from searching the web to comparing online deals to find the best prices.
We've combined all of our great ideas into the Native Info product suite, a FREE set of tools that work to make your browsing experience... better!.
These false claims often trick users into believing that Native Info is a legitimate app. Yet Native Info tracks Internet browsing activity and delivers intrusive online advertisements. Furthermore, it is most likely to infiltrate systems without users’ permission. For these reasons, Native Info is classed as a potentially unwanted program, and adware."
Following successful infiltration, Native Info records search queries, URLs visited, pages viewed, unique identifier numbers, IP addresses, and other similar information that might be personally identifiable. Be aware that SuperWeb LLC shares this collected data with cooperating third party companies.
It is highly probable that your personal information will be misused to generate revenue. For this reason, the presence of Native Info on your system can lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft.
Furthermore, Native Info employs a 'virtual layer' to generate pop-up, coupon, interstitial, transitional, banner, comparison shopping, search, full-page, and other similar advertisements. None originate from your visited sites and conceal underlying web content, significantly diminishing the Internet browsing experience.
In addition, the displayed ads may redirect to malicious sites - clicking them is risky and can lead to further adware or malware infections. For these reasons, Native Info adware should be eliminated immediately.
Native Info Privacy Policy statement regarding data collection:
We only share or sell your non-public personal information with non-affiliated third parties when we believe doing so is permitted by you or authorized by this Privacy Policy. In addition, the Company may share your personal information with our parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies without restriction.
Research shows that SuperWeb LLC has released hundreds of PUPs identical to Native Info. Examples include Pass and Play, Facts Right, Customer Promos, and SunnyDay-Apps among hundreds of other bogus apps. All are designed to generate revenue for SuperWeb LLC.
They are developed only to display intrusive online advertisements and track Internet browsing activity. Neither Native Info, nor any other apps developed by this company, provides any significant value for users.
How did Native Info install on my computer?
Although Native Info has an official download website, many users install this app inadvertently, since SuperWeb LLC employs a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling' - stealth installation of bogus programs with regular software/apps.
Bundled software is mostly concealed within the 'Custom/Advanced' download or installation settings. By skipping this section, you expose your system to risk of infection and put your privacy at risk.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
Installation of apps such as Native Info is mostly hidden. Therefore, the key to computer safety is caution. Closely analyze the download/installation procedures using the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' settings. Furthermore, never accept any offers to download or install additional software, since it is mostly malicious.
