What is Facts Right?
Developed by SuperWeb LLC, Facts Right is a deceptive application that supposedly improves the Internet browsing experience by providing a number of 'valuable' features - "We're passionate about improving web by providing the best tools to enhance the browsing experience, from searching the web to comparing online deals to find the best prices.
We've combined all of our great ideas into the Facts Right product suite, a FREE set of tools that work to make your browsing experience... better!" After stealth system infiltration, however, Facts Right generates intrusive online advertisements and tracks Internet browsing activity.
Although it may seem legitimate, this application is categorized as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) and adware.
This PUP employs a 'virtual layer' to generate various advertisements including (but not limited to) banner, pop-up, interstitial, transitional, full-page, coupon, price comparison, and banner ads. None originate from visited websites and often conceal underlying content, significantly diminishing the Internet browsing experience.
