ArcadeIsle Ads

What is ArcadeIsle?
Similar to ArcadeCake, ArcadeCandy, and a number of other bogus programs, ArcadeIsle is a dubious app claiming to allow users to play a addictive arcade games.
This functionality may seem legitimate, however, this application usually infiltrates systems without users’ permission. In addition, ArcadeIsle continually monitors web browsing activity and generates intrusive online advertisements. For these reasons, it is classed as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) and adware.
ArcadeIsle employs a 'virtual layer' to generate coupon, pop-up, banner, and other similar advertisements. The virtual layer enables placement of third party graphical content on any site and, therefore, displayed ads often conceal underlying content of websites visited by the user.
This significantly diminishes the web browsing experience. Furthermore, the ads often redirect to rogue sites containing infectious content and eve accidental clicks can result in high-risk computer infections.
Furthermore, ArcadeIsle continually gathers various information relating to web browsing activity including IP addresses, website URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries, and other similar data that might be personally identifiable. The developers of ArcadeIsle share this recorded information with third parties who often misuse it to generate revenue.
This can lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft. Therefore, you are strongly advised to uninstall ArcadeIsle adware immediately.
Research shows that many adware infections are virtually identical. All claim to be legitimate and enhance the web browsing experience by providing 'valuable functionality'. These claims are simply attempts to trick users to install. In fact, adware-type programs are designed only to generate revenue for the developers.
Rather than providing any of the features promised, they deliver intrusive online advertisements and collect private data. Applications such as ArcadeIsle are useless to regular users and should be removed.
How did ArcadeIsle install on my computer?
Developers promote ArcadeIsle using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling'. Thus, many users install this app inadvertently. Bundling is essentially stealth installation of PUPs with regular software. Developers hide all bundled programs within the 'Custom/Advanced' download/installation sections.
Skipping these settings exposes systems to risk of various infections. Developers' revenue is dependent on the number of successful infiltrations and, thus, they never disclose these installation properly.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
To prevent this situation, be cautions. Firstly, never skip any steps when downloading and installing software - select the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' section and closely analyze these procedures. Secondly, decline all offers to download/install additional programs and opt-out of those already included - bundled apps are often malicious and, thus, should never be installed.
