Internet Browser Adware

What is Internet Browser?
Identical to BoBrowser and BrowserAir, Internet Browser claims to be an extremely fast, safe, and lightweight web browser. Initially, this application may seem legitimate and useful, however, Internet Browser is categorized as adware and a potentially unwanted program (PUP).
Following successful installation without users' permission, Internet Browser tracks users' Internet browsing activity and delivers intrusive online advertisements.
Internet Browser collects and stores various user/system information including Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, Internet search provider, websites visited, search queries entered into search engines, pages viewed, content on these pages, etc. Some of this collected information might contain personally identifiable details (such as bank or PayPal account logins/passwords).
These details are later shared with third parties who can misuse them to generate revenue. This behavior can lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft. Internet Browser also delivers various intrusive online advertisements including (but not limited to) banner, pop-up, in-text, and interstitial ads.
Most redirect to various e-commerce websites such as online stores, however, some may redirect to infections sites. Thus, clicking any advertisements generated by this adware can lead to high-risk adware or malware infections.
All are displayed using a 'virtual layer' (a tool allowing placement of third party graphical content on any visited website), and thus, none originate from your visited sites.
By displaying instrusive ads, this PUP significantly diminishes the Internet browsing experience, since they conceal underlying web content. For the above reasons, you are strongly advised to uninstall Internet Browser immediately.
Internet Browser is regular adware with very similar characteristics to SwytShop, Sonic Train, Awesome-Promos, and hundreds of other adware-type applications. All adware claims to enhance the browsing experience by enabling a number of useful features.
These false claims are merely attempts to trick users to install. Adware-type applications are designed simply to generate revenue for the developers - they provide none of the functions promised. These applications generate intrusive online advertisements and collect personally identifiable information.
How did Internet Browser install on my computer?
This adware is mostly distributed using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling' - stealth installation of PUPs with the chosen software/apps.
Developers hide bundled applications within the 'Custom/Advanced' settings, since many users do not pay enough attention when downloading and installing software. Unaware that rogue apps are concealed, they rush these processes and skip this section, thereby installing PUPs such as Internet Browser inadvertently.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
Only by paying close attention during the download and installation processes can you protect your system from adware-type infections. Closely analyze these processes using the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' settings. Furthermore, decline all offers to download or install additional programs. Bundled applications are mostly rogue - do not install them.
