Spice Nice Adware

What is Spice Nice?
Spice Nice is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) claiming to improve the Internet browsing experience by enabling various features including comparison shopping and coupons. This browser plug-in may seem legitimate and useful, however, be aware that Spice Nice is categorized as adware.
These associations are made due to a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling' (stealth installation of additional programs together with the chosen software) employed by Spice Nice to install on Internet browsers without users' permission.
After infiltration on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, this PUP delivers intrusive ads (banner, search, interstitial, transitional, pop-up, full-page, etc.), which are likely to redirect users to bogus websites, and thus, cause further computer infections.
Spice Nice also performs information tracking by recording Internet Protocol (IP) addresses (to determine users' demographic locations), unique identifier numbers, website URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries entered into search engines (Yahoo, Google, Bing, etc.), and other information that may be personally identifiable.
Information tracking can result in serious privacy issues or even identity theft. Spice Nice is identical to other apps released by SuperWeb LLC including, for example, Sad Cloud, Water Plant, and Digital More.
No application developed by this company, provides any significant value for the user - the purpose of this promoted software is to generate revenue by the display of ads and sharing collected information with third parties. For these reasons, Spice Nice should be uninstalled from your system immediately.

Currently, Spice Nice and other similar adware is mostly distributed via small programs called 'download managers' on freeware download websites such as download.com, soft32.com, softonic.com, etc.
Download managers are used by download websites to monetize traffic and free services by offering installation of advertised (according to the developers, '100% legitimate and virus-free') applications or browser add-ons together with the chosen free software.
Thus, reckless download and installation of freeware often results in adware or malware infections. This situation can be avoided by observing each step of the free software download procedure and clicking 'Decline' if installation of additional apps is offered.
Furthermore, if you are installing downloaded programs, choose the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' installation options, rather than 'Typical' or 'Quick' - this will reveal any hidden applications listed for installation and allow you to cancel them. If you have installed Spice Nice, read the following guidelines to eliminate this PUP from your system.
