Alnaddy.com is a popular news site. Recently, computer users have complained that Internet browsers redirect to alnaddy.com without their consent. Further investigation of this problem has revealed that this website uses browser add-ons for promotional purposes.
Redirects to this website are not related to malware or virus infections, however, they are a consequence of the Alnaddy toolbar installation to your Internet browser. This browser add-on can be downloaded from alnaddy.com or it may come bundled with free software downloaded from the Internet.
What is Home.allgameshome.com?
allgameshome.com is a popular flash games website promoted using games downloads. This website alone is not related to malware or viruses, however, redirects to home.allgameshome.com are caused by downloading games from this website.
Each time you download a game from this site, you are asked to change your Internet browser homepage and default search engine to home.allgameshome.com The site to which computer users are redirected, presents a search bar using a customized Google search engine.
This search engine should not lead to computer security problems, however, using it for daily Internet searches provides no advantages over mainstream search engines.
What is RivalGaming?
The RivalGaming.com website offers free and premium flash games for its users to play. This website is not related to viruses or malware, however, owners of this website use deceptive methods to monetize their web traffic.
When computer users clicks on premium games listed in RivalGaming.com, they are required to install additional browser add-ons prior to playing the selected games. The add-on, which is installed on users' Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, Google Chrome), is categorized as adware.
The browser plug-in collects information about users' Internet surfing habits and then displays text links, pop-up, pop-under, floating, and transitional advertisements.
What kind of application is TornTV?
TornTV is free software that enables users to watch TV via their computers. This program alone is not technically a virus or malware – however, its developers use deceptive methods to monetize their product.
Free software is often bundled with various browser plug-ins, which can display ads, modify users' Internet browser settings, or cause random redirects.
Most free software developers bundle their programs with one toolbar or plug-in, but we found TornTV bundled with several – the Babylon toolbar and Yontoo adware. These additionally-installed extensions generate redirects and deliver unwanted ads. Furthermore, these browser add-ons diminish the browsing performance.
What is eType?
The eType browser extension is a translation, dictionary, and auto-complete browser add-on. It can be downloaded from its homepage or it may be bundled with free software that computer users download from the Internet. If you fail to check each installation window carefully, your Internet browser homepage and default search engine will be changed to search.etype.com Moreover, the free version of eType is bundled with a toolbar, which displays deceptive offers and ads.
What is Personal Protector 2013?
Personal Protector 2013 should not be mistaken for legitimate antivirus software, it is a scam developed by cyber criminals to scare PC users into believing that their computers are infiltrated with high-risk malware and virus infections.
To achieve this deceptive goal, Personal Protector 2013 displays fake security scans and generates long lists of supposedly-detected security issues. In fact, it is an empty software shell, comprising neither a virus definition database nor a virus scan engine.
The processes displayed by this bogus software are merely imitated. Do not trust any information displayed by Personal Protector 2013, since its main goal is to sell a useless 'full version', which supposedly eliminates 'detected' security threats on your PC.

In fact, this message is not delivered from Slovakian police, it is a scam developed by cyber criminals. Infections that block computer screens, demanding users pay bogus fines, are called ransomware.
This particular screen locker originates from a family called Urausy. The deceptive message displayed by the Policajny Zbor Slovenskej Republiky virus states that you are required to pay the 100 Euro (or 2000 SKK) fine for supposedly committing law infringement (such as illegal downloads of copyrighted content, watching pornography, etc.)

This scam originates from a family of screen lockers called Reveton and predominantly targets PC users from Poland. When this ransomware infects a computer, it blocks the desktop and displays a deceptive message in the Polish language, accompanied by Polish police graphics.
Note that Poland's police cybercrime department has no connection with this message - it is a scam created by Cyber criminals who extort money from unsuspecting PC users who fall for their trickery and pay the bogus fine.

This message states that users' computers were locked due to their systems holding unauthorised copyrighted content or for users watching pornography.
What is Search.softonic.com?
The Search.softonic.com (Websearch Powered by Softonic) website is promoted by Softonic.com using Internet browser toolbars. Softonic is a popular software download website, which recently began monetizing web traffic using browser add-ons that redirect users to the site.
Computer users should express caution when downloading software from softonic.com, since each time free software is downloaded from this website, the user is forced to download an installer bundled with the Softonic toolbar.
Thus, it appears that Softonic have followed the deceptive practices of cnet.download.com by bundling software downloads with browser add-ons, which redirect computer users to specific websites for monetization purposes.
