Identical to deloplen.com, newsfrog.me, withingadvertly.pro, and many others, storynnews[.]com is a deceptive website designed to feed users with dubious content and redirect them to other dubious sites.
Users are typically redirected to storynnews[.]com by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) or intrusive advertisements displayed on other rogue sites. PUAs infiltrate computers without users' consent. As well as causing redirects, they generate advertisements and gather data.
What is courselfan[.]pro?
courselfan[.]pro is yet another rogue website that shares similarities with newsfrog.me, withingadvertly.pro, deloplen.com, and many others. This site redirects users to other dubious websites and displays dubious content.
Many visitors arrive at courselfan[.]pro inadvertently - they are redirected by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) or intrusive advertisements displayed on other rogue sites. Research shows that PUAs usually infiltrate systems without users' consent. Furthermore, most deliver intrusive advertisements and gather information.
What is Popotic?
Discovered by Michael Gillespie, Popotic is classified as ransomware. Programs of this type prevent people from accessing files by encryption.
Typically, to decrypt their files, victims are urged to purchase a decryption tool or key. Popotic ransomware also renames encrypted files, creates a ransom message within the "HOW-TO-RESTORE-FILES.txt" text file, and adds the ".popotic" extension to each encrypted file. For example, "1.jpg" becomes "1.jpg.popotic".
What is Peekaboo?
Peekaboo is a ransomware-type program that was discovered by Michael Gillespie. Most of these programs encrypt data (files) and create ransom messages. People with computers infected by ransomware cannot access their files unless they purchase a decryption tool/key from cyber criminals.
This particular program renames each encrypted file by adding the ".peekaboo" extension to the filename. For example, "1.jpg" becomes "1.jpg.peekaboo". It also creates the "@@_TAKE_A_LOOK_@@.txt" text file and stores it together with encrypted files.
What is MessengerLite?
MessengerLite is a messaging app that includes texting, video calls, and planning features. It can be installed on smartphones or desktop computers.
Note, however, that MessengerLite is known to behave like adware. For this reason, it is categorized as an unwanted application. Adware-type apps display advertisements and, in some cases, collect information relating to users' browsing activity.
What is "OSX/Linker"?
OSX/Linker is a generic name for malware that exploits a zero-day MacOS Gatekeeper vulnerability to infect the system.
Infections of this type are designed to use symbolic links (or 'symlinks') to bypass MacOS protection by accessing a Network File System (NFS) server and injecting malicious applications into the system (rather than downloading them directly from the Internet).
What is "Windows Detected ALUREON Attack"?
"Windows Detected ALUREON Attack" is a technical support scam, the purpose of which is to trick people into contacting scammers who present themselves as members of Microsoft support. According to this scam website, visitors' computers are infected with a malicious program called ALUREON.
Do not trust this scam or call the displayed telephone number under any circumstances. If the site was opened randomly, it is possible that it was caused by a PUA installed on the system.

These sites contain untrustworthy content or redirect people to other potentially malicious web pages. In most cases, sites such as miresnahapsi[.]pro are opened by potentially unwanted apps (PUAs) that are installed on browsers or operating systems.
Note that people do not generally download and install apps of this type intentionally. Furthermore, PUAs often gather information relating to users' browsing activities and display unwanted/intrusive advertisements.
What is search.zaztov.com?
Developers present search.zaztov.com (also known as srch-s.zaztov.com) as a high quality search engine that significantly enhances the browsing experience by generating improved results. Its appearance barely differs from Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other legitimate search engines.
Therefore, many users believe that search.zaztov.com is also legitimate and useful. In fact, this site is promoted using rogue download/install set-ups that modify browser settings without users’ permission. In addition, it continually records information relating to browsing activity.
What is search.leperdvil.com?
Search.leperdvil.com is presented as a legitimate Internet search website similar to Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other legitimate search engines.
Some users may believe that search.leperdvil.com is a legitimate site, however, this site is promoted using deceptive app 'installers' developed to modify Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome browser settings without users' permission. Furthermore, this site collects various information relating to Internet browsing activity.
