What is Up Pro?

Up Pro is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) claiming to save time and money by providing coupons, displaying special deals/discounts on various online stores, enabling comparison shopping, and other similar functionality - "When you view a product online, Up Pro lets you know where you can find it for a lower price".

The features offered by Up Pro are merely attempts to trick users into believing that it is a legitimate application. In fact, Up Pro is an adware-type application that infiltrates computer systems and Internet browsers without users' consent. It also displays intrusive online advertisements and tracks users' Internet browsing activity.

The types of advertisements displayed include (but are not limited to) coupon, price comparison, and pop-up ads. These usually redirect to various e-commerce websites such as online stores or other websites offering certain services.
