Super Page is identical to other variants including Boxo Search and Spot Search. Super Page and its variants claim to enhance the Internet browsing experience by displaying advanced Internet search results

These claims are merely attempts to trick users into believing that this application is legitimate and useful. In fact, Super Page is considered to be a browser hijacker and a potentially unwanted program (PUP).

After infiltration on Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox), Super Page modifies browser settings, causes unwanted redirects, and tracks user information.

Super Page assigns the browser default search engine, homepage, and new tab URL settings to the super-page.com website. Furthermore, it is delivered with browser add-ons and applications designed to prevent users from reverting these changes.

In doing so, Super Page diminishes the browsing experience - when users search the Internet, or simply open new browser tabs, they are automatically redirected to super-page.com. In addition, users' Internet browsing activity is continually monitored and various information is gathered.

The Super Page Privacy Policy states that this application collects no personally identifiable information, however, this statement is false, since the collected details include IP addresses, websites visited, pages viewed, search queries, language settings, etc. - clearly, private information.

Super Page browser hijacker removal:

Windows 11 users:

Change your homepage and new tab settings:

Click the Edge menu icon  (at the top right corner of Microsoft Edge), select "Settings". In the "On startup" section look for the name of the browser hijacker and click "Disable".

Change your default Internet search engine:

To change your default search engine in Microsoft Edge: Click the Edge menu icon  (at the top right corner of Microsoft Edge), select "Privacy and services", scroll to bottom of the page and select "Address bar". In the "Search engines used in address bar" section look for the name of the unwanted Internet search engine, when located click the "Disable" button near it. Alternatively you can click on "Manage search engines", in the opened menu look for unwanted Internet search engine. Click on the puzzle icon near it and select "Disable".

Optional method:
