Online Advertising Ads

What is Online Advertising?
The Online Advertising platform is used by many adware-type apps as an advertising network. These applications are distributed using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling' (stealth installation of third party applications together with the chosen software). This method enables them to infiltrate Internet browsers without users' permission.
After infiltration on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and other Internet browsers, they continually monitor users' Internet browsing activity. Most adware-type applications gather information such as geographic location, Internet service provider, Internet Protocol (IP) address, websites viewed, search queries entered, pages visited, and so on.
Their purpose is to collect personally identifiable data, which is later shared with third parties.
Furthermore, adware-type applications display various intrusive online advertisements (including pop-up, banner, coupon, interstitial, transitional, full, in-text, and search) that may redirect to untrusted websites containing infectious content. The presence of adware-type applications on your system may cause further computer infections or even serious privacy issues.
Users are often tricked into installation of adware by features offered by these applications.
For instance, Shopsafer, MarkingApp, Halt-It, Shop Smart, and PriceMinus also claim to save time and money while shopping online, however, adware-type applications provide no real value for the user - their purpose is to generate revenue by displaying intrusive online advertisements and sharing collected information with third parties.
Users often inadvertently install adware together with software downloaded from freeware download websites such as soft32.com, downloads.com, softonic.com, etc. These sites employ small download programs (called 'installers', 'download managers', 'download clients', 'download tools', and so on) to monetize their traffic and free services.
Download programs promote installation of third party applications via pop-ups when users download free software. Although these apps are presented as 'genuine and virus-free', most are categorized as adware or malware. You can avoid this situation by taking a few simple steps.
Pay close attention when downloading free software and click 'Decline' for any offers to install additional apps.
In addition, install downloaded programs using the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' installation options, rather than 'Quick' or 'Typical' - this will reveal any bundled apps listed for installation and allow you to opt-out. If you observe intrusive online advertisements when browsing the Internet, follow the removal instructions provided to eliminate this problem from your system.
