What is myv9.com?
Myv9.com an updated version of the v9.com browser hijacker. Both are presented as legitimate websites that can be used as a homepage or default search engine. The developers employ a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling' to distribute this browser hijacker.
Bundling is stealth installation of third party apps together with regular software. After infiltration on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, this rogue app assigns the default new tab URL, default search engine, and homepage, to the myv9.com website.
As with many typical browser hijackers, Myv9.com is installed with small applications called 'helper objects', which prevent users from reverting these browser settings changes. Right-click on the found preferences and select "Reset" to restore default values.

near it and select "Disable".
Optional method:
If you continue to have problems with removal of the myv9.com redirect, reset your Microsoft Edge browser settings. Click the Edge menu icon (at the top right corner of Microsoft Edge) and select Settings.
