Ads by OnlineBrowserAdvertising

What is OnlineBrowserAdvertising?
OnlineBrowserAdvertising ads, which appear when browsing the Internet, are caused by potentially unwanted browser add-ons. Commonly, these potentially unwanted applications infiltrate browsers via free software downloads and claim to enhance the browsing experience by adding various useful features.
At time of testing, these ads were caused by browser plug-ins called "ultra notifier", "Feven", "Freeven", "Fpro_1.2", and "FreeV1.3" - they claim to notify users of available software updates and help to save time and money while shopping online.
While this functionality may seem legitimate, these browser extensions are categorized as adware or potentially unwanted applications, since they install on browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox) without users' consent. Furthermore, these add-ons generate intrusive ads and track users' Internet browsing activity.
At time of research, these browser extensions were distributed using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling', and thus, computer users often install them inadvertently together with free software downloaded from the Internet.
Following successful infiltration, this adware generates banner, search, pop-up, pop-under, and interstitial ads, which are inserted or displayed over portions of web pages visited. The ads are labelled as "Ads by OnlineBrowserAdvertising".
Rogue browser extensions that generate "OnlineBrowserAdvertising" ads are also known to display in-text ads - converting words on pages viewed into hyperlinks (which link to advertisements such as nav-links and InterYield ads).
Furthermore, these potentially unwanted applications monitor and record users' Internet browsing activity - recording the domain names of pages viewed and advertisements appearing on these pages, IP addresses, operating system types, search queries, browsing history, physical locations, and other information.
The presence of this rogue browser plugin on your system can lead to malware infections and cause serious privacy issues. For these reasons, you are strongly advised to eliminate adware causing "OnlineBrowserAdvertising" ads from your Internet browser/s.
The OnlineBrowserAdvertising advertising platform is similar to InterYield, Nav-links, and "Ads not by this site" adware. These platforms use intrusive ads, which appear within any sites visited and are bundled with third-party browser add-ons.
These rogue browser add-ons employ a virtual graphic layer over any existing web page - in the case of OnlineBrowserAdvertising, random banner ads appear on visited websites, which link to dubious websites. To avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications causing OnlinerowserAdvertising ads, be attentive when downloading free software.
If your download is managed by a download client, look for the 'decline' button and opt-out of installation of any promoted programs or browser add-ons. If you observe random banner ads labelled as "Ads by OnlineBrowserAdvertising", use the removal guide provided to eliminate the adware causing them.
