RocketTab Ads

What is RocketTab?
Rocket Tab is a browser add-on developed by Rich River Media. The software claim to make the Internet browsing experience more productive by enabling multiple site search capabilities and providing the convenience of searching popular local sites without having to open additional windows or tabs.
Although this functionality may seem legitimate, this plug-in is categorized as adware or a potentially unwanted application. Rocket Tab installs on browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox) without users' consent using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling'.
This browser extension is often installed inadvertently with free software downloaded from the Internet. After successful infiltration, this browser plug-in generates intrusive ads during Internet searches using Google. Moreover, it tracks Internet browsing activity by recording URLs visited and keywords searched.
Clicking on Rocket Tab ads can lead to high-risk malware and virus infections, and therefore, users who notice these ads appearing when searching the Internet should use the removal guide provided to eliminate this adware from their computers.

Rocket Tab is similar to other adware (that installs on users' Internet browsers together with free software downloaded from the Internet) including, for example, Internet Blast, Searchadence, and Shopping Suggestion. While developers of these browser plug-ins claim that they are useful additions, in fact they are only created to generate revenue from the display of dubious ads.
They add little or no value, and furthermore, their presence can lead to malware and virus infections. To avoid installation of Rocket Tab, or other potentially unwanted applications, express caution when downloading and installing free software.
Today, most freeware download websites use deceptive 'download clients' offering installation of promoted browser plug-ins (usually adware) with the chosen free software. Thus, reckless free software downloading can result in adware infections. To avoid this situation, cancel installation of advertised browser extensions by clicking the 'decline' button.
If you observe Rocket Tab ads when searching the Internet with Google, use the removal guide provided to eliminate this potentially unwanted application from your Internet browsers.
