Internet Blast Adware

What is Internet Blast?
Internet Blast is a potentially unwanted application developed by Super Web LLC. This browser plugin promises to enhance users' Internet browsing experience by displaying coupons and website trust ratings.
Whilst such added functionality may seem legitimate, this add-on is categorized as adware since it installs on Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox) without users' consent and generates various intrusive ads, including search, banner, text link, transitional, interstitial, and full page advertisements.
Furthermore, Internet Blast tracks users' Internet browsing activity by recording IP addresses, unique identifier numbers, operating systems, browser information, URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries entered, and other information. The presence of this browser extension can lead to serious privacy issues and may cause high-risk malware and virus infections.
Commonly, Internet users install this adware when downloading free software. Users should be aware that, today, most freeware download websites use deceptive 'download clients' offering installation of promoted browser extensions together with the chosen free software, thus reckless free software downloading can result in installation of various potentially unwanted applications.
Internet Blast adds no significant value and its main goal is to generate revenue from various dubious ads. This adware is one of many identical browser plugins created by Super Web LLC. Previous variants were named Searchadence, Albrechto, and Fassurun.
This company releases identical browser extensions under different names in order to avoid detection by legitimate antivirus and anti-spyware programs. To avoid installation of such potentially unwanted programs (PUPs), computer users should be attentive when downloading free software.
If your download is managed by a download client, opt-out out of installation of advertised browser add-ons by clicking the 'decline' button. If you observe "Powered by Internet Blast", "Ads by Internet Blast", or "Internet Blast Deals" advertisements whilst browsing the Internet, use the removal guide provided to eliminate this adware from your Internet browser/s.
