1ClickDownloader - how to eliminate this adware?
What is 1ClickDownloader?
1ClickDownloader is a software package that supposedly enables users to efficiently download files from the Internet. Creators of this program claim that the software has over 10 million users worldwide. This program alone is not related to malware or viruses, however, its developers employ dubious monetization methods. Note that when downloading this software, you will also install TornTV, Babylon Toolbar, and Yontoo adware. Furthermore, installation of 1ClickDownloader will cause browser redirects, unwanted pop-up ads, and diminished Internet browser performance. The browser add-ons bundled with this software do not enhance the Internet browsing experience and are proliferated in order to gain revenue from incoming web traffic.
To avoid problems, do not download and install 1ClickDownloader on your system. Always express caution when downloading free software from the Internet, since browser redirects and unwanted toolbars are commonly bundled with free software. To avoid installation of additional unwanted software, check each installation process window and uncheck any option suggesting you change your browser homepage or default search engine. 1ClickDownloader is not technically a computer virus, however, its deceptive monetization strategies make this program an unwanted application and not recommended for use.
After 1ClickDownloader installation, users' Internet browser settings are overridden, they are presented with ads and will experience browser redirects. Clicking on displayed third party ads may lead to greater problems such as the installation of additional unwanted software, malware, and privacy issues. If you wish to keep your computer clear of Trojans and viruses, and you care about your privacy, remove 1ClickDownloader and any adware bundled with this program. Use this removal guide to eliminate annoying pop-ups and redirects.
