What is Cuerpo Nacional de Policía?
Dirección General de la Policía - Cuerpo Nacional de Policía is an authority from Spain, which has no connection with the screen locker displayed in the screenshot below. The message demanding payment of a 100 Euro fine for law infringements is generated by a ransomware infection. This type of infection is used by Cyber criminals to trick PC users into paying bogus fines for fabricated law violations.
The Cuerpo Nacional De Policia screen locker originates from a family of ransomware called Reveton. Cyber criminals responsible for creating this family of screen lockers localize their deceptive messages in order to deliver them in many languages.
This particular ransomware targets computer users from Spain, although infected users from other countries are presented with alternative messages and graphics. Cyber criminals use this method of localization to make their fake messages appear authentic.
In most cases, ransomware infections such as these are proliferated using malicious websites and Trojans. The best way to avoid these security threats from infiltrating your PC, is by using legitimate anti-spyware and antivirus programs.

Another variant of this ransomware virus, Cuerpo Nacional de Policía "Se bloquea el proveedor de servicios de Internet", originates from a family called Revoyem (DirtyDecrypt). At time of writing, no known tools are available to decrypt the files encrypted by this ransomware virus.
Recent research shows that Cyber criminals are always seeking new ways to distribute their ransomware infections. Computers connected to the Internet may be infiltrated with scams while users open email attachments, click on dubious links in Skype, etc.
If your computer screen is locked with such a message, ignore the accusations of law violations and eliminate it from your PC immediately.
Do not pay the 100 Euro fine - you will send your money to cyber criminals. Use the removal information provided to unlock your PC and remove this scam message from your system.
Ukash (Smart Voucher Limited) is a legitimate company and not related to ransomware viruses - cyber criminals use this service to extort money from unsuspecting PC users.
