Browser notification spam in general
We have inspected thousands of rogue pages; news-rulujo[.]cc, computeradshub[.]com, and safemacpc[.]xyz are just a couple of examples.
Sites of this kind deliver browser notifications that mainly promote deceptive and malicious content. It is noteworthy that any legitimate products encountered through these adverts are unlikely to be endorsed by their actual developers. Instead, this promotion is undertaken by scammers abusing the products' affiliate programs to obtain illegitimate commissions.
How did save-your-time[.]com gain permission to deliver spam notifications?
Websites require user permission to display browser notifications. Therefore, if you are seeing ads from save-your-time[.]com, you have likely visited this page and permitted it to deliver them. In other words, clicked "Allow", "Allow Notifications", or an analogous option presented on save-your-time[.]com.
How to prevent deceptive sites from delivering spam notifications?
To avoid receiving unwanted browser notifications, we advise against consenting to their delivery from suspicious sites (i.e., do not click "Allow", "Allow Notifications", etc.). Instead, we recommend ignoring or denying notification delivery requests (i.e., clicking "Block", "Block Notifications", etc.).
If your browser is continuously force-opening questionable websites without prompt, it might be caused by the presence of adware. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.
