How to stop redirects to and from beforeigntools.club
Written by Tomas Meskauskas on (updated)
What is the beforeigntools[.]club site?
beforeigntools[.]club is an untrusted website sharing many similarities with readnewmessage.com, uptoabc.com, wapwon-k.uno, and countless others. This site presents users with dubious material and/or redirects to other rogue/malicious web pages.
Typically, beforeigntools[.]club and similar websites are entered via redirects caused by intrusive ads or Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUAs). These apps do not need express user consent to be installed onto devices. PUAs operate by causing redirects, running intrusive advertisement campaigns and gathering browsing-related information.
Dubious web pages such as beforeigntools[.]club operate by checking visitors' IP (Internet Protocol) addresses to learn their geolocations. Therefore, whether users are redirected elsewhere and/or are presented with suspect content, depends on their geolocations.
Another dangerous feature of beforeigntools[.]club is that it uses deceptive tactics to trick visitors into enabling browser notifications. The page states: "Just one more step! [Click] 'Allow' to continue". If the notifications are enabled, the site begins running intrusive advertisement campaigns.
The delivered ads are more than just an annoyance, they are also a threat to device/user safety. To elaborate, once clicked, they redirect to dubious/malicious websites, and some can even stealthily download/install rogue software (e.g. PUAs). These unwanted apps can have varied capabilities in different combinations.
PUAs can cause redirects and/or run intrusive ad campaigns. Furthermore, most PUAs (regardless of other functionality) can track data. They can monitor browsing activity (visited URLs, viewed pages, searched queries, etc.) and collect personal information extracted from it (IP addresses, geolocations and other details).
This vulnerable data is then shared with and/or sold to third parties (potentially, cyber criminals), likewise seeking to misuse it for profit.
In summary, the presence of unwanted software on devices can lead to system infections, financial loss, serious privacy issues and even identity theft. To ensure device and user safety, all suspicious applications and browser extensions/plug-ins must be removed immediately upon detection.

PUAs often seem legitimate and offer a wide variety of "useful" features, however, despite how good the functions promised may sound, they are rarely operational. In fact, this software can have harmful capabilities that are not immediately apparent. The only purpose of these unwanted apps is to generate revenue for the developers.
Regular users receive no genuine value and can experience serious problems. Rather than delivering any real value, PUAs can force-open untrusted and malicious sites, run intrusive advertisement campaigns and collect private data.
How did adware install on my computer?
PUAs are often downloaded/installed with other software. This deceptive marketing tactic of packing regular software with unwanted or malicious additions is called "bundling". Rushing downloads/installations (e.g. ignoring terms, skipping steps and sections, etc.) increases the risk of unintentionally allowing bundled content into the system.
Some PUAs have "official" download web pages. Intrusive advertisements proliferate these applications as well. When clicked, they can execute scripts to download/install PUAs without users' consent.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
You are advised to research all software prior to download/installation and/or purchase. All downloads must be done from official and verified sources. Untrusted download channels such as unofficial and free file-hosting sites, Peer-to-Peer sharing networks and other third party downloaders can offer deceptive and bundled content.
When downloading/installing, read the terms, explore all available options, use the "Custom" or "Advanced" settings and opt-out of supplementary apps, tools, features and other additions. Intrusive advertisements may seem legitimate, however, they can redirect to dubious and possibly dangerous websites (e.g. gambling, pornography, adult-dating, etc.).
If you encounter ads or redirects of this kind, inspect your devices and remove all dubious applications and browser extensions/plug-ins without delay. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
