Stop redirects to and from requestfor4.com

What is requestfor4[.]com?
requestfor4[.]com is a rogue site sharing many similarities with belmonhezamil.pro, 2fatoffers.xyz, creasonsau.info and countless others. Visitors to the site are presented with dubious content and/or redirected to other untrusted or malicious web pages.
Access to requestfor4[.]com and similar websites is typically forced via redirects, which are caused by intrusive advertisements or Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUAs). Note that these unwanted apps do not need explicit consent to be installed onto devices.
PUAs can generate redirects, deliver intrusive ads (pop-ups, banners, coupons, etc.) and track browsing-related information.
The geolocation is key in determining the course of action of requestfor4[.]com. It learns this information by checking visitors' IP addresses. According to their geolocations, users are redirected elsewhere and/or presented with dubious or harmful material.
Additionally, requestfor4[.]com urges visitors to enable browser notifications using 'clickbait': "Press 'Allow' to verify, that you are not [a] robot". If people are tricked into enabling these, the web page begins running intrusive ad campaigns. The resultant ads significantly diminish the browsing experience by limiting browsing speed and website visibility.
Furthermore, when clicked, they can redirect to sale-oriented, untrusted/rogue, compromised, deceptive/scam and malicious websites. Some can even execute scripts to download/install content (e.g. PUAs) without users' permission. PUAs can also force-open similarly dangerous web pages and run intrusive ad campaigns.
They can record information including browsing activity (URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries typed, etc.) and personal information (IP addresses, geolocations and other details). This sensitive data is often shared with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) intent on misusing it for profit.
In this way, PUAs cause browser and system infiltration/infections, lead to serious privacy issues, financial loss and even identity theft. You are strongly advised to remove all suspicious applications and browser extensions/plug-ins without delay.

PUAs may seem like legitimate and normal software with a wide variety of "useful" functions, however, these features rarely work as advertised and, in most cases, are nonoperational. The only purpose of this unwanted content is to generate revenue for the developers at users' expense.
PUAs are useless and can also cause serious issues. These apps force-open harmful sites, deliver intrusive ads and gather vulnerable data.
How did adware install on my computer?
PUAs proliferate via the download/installation set-ups of other software. "Bundling" is the term used to describe the deceptive marketing method of pre-packing regular programs with unwanted or malicious content.
By rushing through download/installation processes (e.g. ignoring terms, skipping steps and sections, etc.), many users endanger their devices with potential system infiltration and infections. Intrusive ads also proliferate PUAs - when clicked, they can execute scripts to make stealthy downloads/installations.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
All software should be researched prior to download/installation. You are advised to use official and verified download channels. Sources such as free file-hosting websites, P2P sharing networks (BitTorrent, Gnutella, eMule, etc.) and other third party downloaders are untrusted and can offer likewise suspicious content.
Approach download and installation processes with caution. Read the terms, explore all available options, use the "Custom/Advanced" settings and opt-out of supplementary apps, tools, features and so on.
Intrusive advertisements may seem normal and harmless, however, once clicked, they can redirect to dubious web pages (e.g. gambling, pornography, adult-dating and others). If you encounter these ads/redirects, check the system and immediately remove all dubious applications and/or browser extensions/plug-ins.
If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
