Remove redirects to and from dsruseedsdreed.com

What is dsruseedsdreed[.]com?
dsruseedsdreed[.]com is one of many rogue websites available online. It shares similarities with muchinspardorop.info, mega-deals.mobi, vinuser.biz, and thousands of others. These sites operate by presenting users with dubious content and generating redirects to other untrustworthy/malicious websites.
Few users enter dsruseedsdreed[.]com intentionally - most are redirected by intrusive advertisements or potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) already present within the system. Note that these apps do not need explicit user consent to be installed onto devices.
Once successfully infiltrated, PUAs cause redirects, deliver intrusive ad campaigns, and gather information relating to users' browsing activity.
dsruseedsdreed[.]com first checks the visitors' IP addresses to learn their geolocations. This data is crucial in determining its further course of action. Depending on the user's geolocation, it redirects elsewhere and/or begins feeding the user with dubious content.
An example of this content is 'clickbait', which this rogue web page uses to disguise the consent option for browser notifications. The clickbait ("CLICK HERE! To start streaming your video...") tricks visitors into allowing dsruseedsdreed[.]com to send the notifications.
If the consent is clicked, the website then begins running intrusive ad campaigns (pop-ups, surveys, coupons, banners, and so on). Ads of this type are a threat due to the dubious and malicious sites to which they redirect, and for their ability to execute scripts to stealthily download/install PUAs.
As stated, PUAs are able to generate redirects. They also run intrusive ad campaigns, which can seriously diminish browsing quality. By implementing a wide variety of tools, unwanted apps enable third party graphical content on any site. Therefore, the ads they deliver can limit browsing performance and site visibility (i.e., overlay parts of web pages).
Some PUAs have data tracking abilities. Information of interest includes URLs visited, pages viewed, search engine history, IP address, geolocation, and personal details. The data is then shared with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) intent on misusing it to generate revenue.
Therefore, PUAs can cause various browser and system infiltration/infections and lead to serious privacy issues (even identity theft). To protect device and user safety, remove all suspicious applications and/or browser extensions/plug-ins immediately upon detection.

Most PUAs share certain traits, and those released by the same developers tend to be identical. They usually appear legitimate and harmless, further tempting users to install by offering a broad array of "useful" features. In fact, these features rarely work as advertised, if indeed they are operational at all.
The only purpose of these rogue applications is to generate revenue for developers, whilst regular users receive no real value. Rather than delivering any features, PUAs cause redirects to dubious and even dangerous websites, deliver intrusive ad campaigns, and collect private data.
How did adware install on my computer?
Some PUAs have "official" websites, on which they are often endorsed as "free" software. They also proliferate via download/install set-ups of other programs. The deceptive marketing method of pre-packing regular software with unwanted/malicious content is called "bundling".
This technique is widely used by PUA developers and is, unfortunately, quite successful. By rushing through the download/installation processes (e.g. ignoring terms, skipping steps, using pre-set options, etc.), many users endanger their devices with potential system infiltration and infections.
Intrusive ads are also known to spread unwanted apps. Once clicked, they can execute scripts designed to automatically download/install PUAs.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
Use official and verified channels for downloading, as opposed to Peer-to-Peer sharing networks, third party downloaders and other untrustworthy sources. Treat download/installation processes with caution. Read terms and explore possible options, using "Custom/Advanced" settings, and opt-out of download/installation of supplementary content.
Intrusive advertisements typically seem ordinary, however, they often redirect to dubious sites (pornography, adult-dating, gambling, and similar). If you users experience these ads/redirects, study the system and immediately remove all suspect applications and/or browser extensions/plug-ins.
If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
