Stop browser redirects to and from loostnews.biz

What is loostnews[.]biz?
loostnews[.]biz is a rogue website that is virtually identical to clickworker.me, clickpush.biz, allowpush.club, and many others. Its purpose is to feed users with dubious content and redirect them to other rogue sites.
Most visitors arrive at loostnews[.]biz inadvertently - they are redirected by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) or intrusive advertisements delivered by other rogue sites.
PUAs infiltrate computers without users' consent. After successful infiltration, these unwanted applications cause redirects, deliver intrusive advertisements, and gather information relating to browsing activity.
Potentially unwanted applications open new browser tabs/windows and redirect users to loostnews[.]biz. This website then presents users with certain content and/or redirects them elsewhere - everything depends on the visitor's geolocation, which is determined by checking the IP address.
In any case, users might end up encountering malicious content. Therefore, visiting loostnews[.]biz can lead to computer infections. As mentioned above, PUAs also deliver advertisements (e.g., coupons, banners, pop-ups, and similar). These usually redirect to dubious websites and some even execute scripts designed to download/install unwanted applications.
Therefore, clicking them can result in system infections. Intrusive advertisements are typically delivered using tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site. Therefore, they often conceal underlying content, thereby significantly diminishing the browsing experience.
PUAs also track data by recording IP addresses, search queries, URLs visited, pages viewed, and other information relating to browsing habits.
The data often includes personal details that developers share with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) who misuse private data to generate revenue. Therefore, having data tracking apps installed on your computer might lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft. All PUAs should be uninstalled immediately.

There are thousands of PUAs, all of which share many similarities. By offering "useful features, they attempt to give the impression of legitimacy and trick users to install. Following infiltration, however, these applications provide no real value for regular users. PUAs simply cause redirects, generate advertisements, and gather sensitive data.
How did adware install on my computer?
PUAs are typically distributed using a deceptive marketing method called "bundling" and the aforementioned intrusive advertisements. "Bundling" is stealth installation of third party applications together with regular software. Developers are not honest enough to adequately disclose installation of third party applications.
Therefore, "bundled" programs are hidden behind "Custom/Advanced" settings (or other sections) of the download/installation processes. Rushing and skipping download/installation steps, and clicking advertisements thus often leads to inadvertent installation of rogue applications.
In this way, many users expose their systems to the risk of various infections and compromise their privacy.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
To prevent this situation, be very cautions when browsing the internet and downloading/installing software. Be aware that intrusive advertisements typically seem legitimate, however, once clicked, can redirect to dubious websites such as gambling, adult dating, and pornography - these are just some examples from many.
If you experience these ads/redirects, remove all suspicious applications and browser plug-ins. Furthermore, download programs from official sources only, preferably using direct download links. Third party downloaders/installers commonly include ("bundle") rogue apps, and thus such tools should not be used.
Study each window of the download/installation dialogs using the "Custom" or "Advanced" settings. Opt-out of additionally-included programs and also decline offers to download/install additional apps.
The key to computer safety is caution. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
