Virus and Spyware Removal Guides, uninstall instructions
What is DelphiRansomware?
DelphiRansomware has been discovered by MalwareHunterTeam. This is a high-risk ransomware-type virus designed to encrypt/lock files. Once files are locked, affected users are encouraged to pay a ransom to retrieve them.
DelphiRansomware renames encrypted files by adding the ".FilGZmsp" extension to each locked file. For example, "sample.jpg", is renamed to "sample.jpg.FilGZmsp" after encryption. Once DelphiRansomware has infected the system, it displays a ransom message within a pop-up window.
What is global-newws.site?
Similar to filezog.com, amousinded.info, frash-news.club, and many others, global-newws.site is a rogue site designed to redirect users to other dubious websites. Users typically visit global-newws.site inadvertently - they are redirected by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) or intrusive advertisements.
PUAs usually infiltrate computers without permission and, as well as causing redirects, record user-system information and deliver intrusive advertisements.
What is amousinded.info?
amousinded.info is one of many rogue websites available online (others include wekomix.com, pushthenme.info, ukcontentdelivery.info, etc.) that redirect visitors to other untrustworthy sites.
Users often arrive at this site unintentionally - they are redirected to amousinded.info by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) that infiltrate systems without users' permission. In addition to unwanted redirects, PUAs often deliver intrusive ads and gather information.
What is "Your MacOS 10.14 Mojave Is Infected With 3 Viruses!"?
"Your MacOS 10.14 Mojave Is Infected With 3 Viruses!" is a fake virus alert message that is displayed for MacOS users who visit untrustworthy and deceptive websites. In most cases, users do not visit these websites intentionally - potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) cause these redirects.
PUAs are installed without direct permission, cause unwanted redirects, deliver intrusive ads, and record browsing-related and other data.
What is frash-news.club?
The frash-news.club website causes redirects and is similar to wekomix.com, pushthenme.info, ariocroft.com, incomingnow.com, and many other sites. Visitors usually arrive at frash-news.club inadvertently - they are redirected by potentially unwanted apps (PUAs) or intrusive advertisements displayed on the internet.
Research shows that PUAs typically infiltrate systems without permission and, as well as causing redirects, deliver intrusive advertisements and gather information relating to browsing habits.
What is Impect?
Discovered by Michael Gillespie, Impect is a ransomware-type virus developed by cyber criminals who use it to encrypt users' files (rendering them unusable). Once a computer is infected, it encrypts all (or most) data and adds the ".impect" extension to each affected file.
For instance, "sample.jpg", becomes "sample.jpg.impect" after encryption. Furthermore, this virus places a "how to get back you files.txt" text file in every folder that contains encrypted files and displays a pop-up window with a ransom demand message.
What is "MS MALWARE ALERT"?
"MS MALWARE ALERT" is a fake virus alert similar to many others of this type. It is displayed on untrustworthy, deceptive websites that most people visit unintentionally - they are redirected by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs). In many cases, users install these apps inadvertently.
Once installed, PUAs deliver intrusive advertisements and record data relating to browsing activity. The "MS MALWARE ALERT" fake message is presented in text and audio formats.
What is wcontentdelivery.info?
wcontentdelivery.info is a rogue site identical to wekomix.com, pushthenme.info, ukcontentdelivery.info, and many others. It causes redirects to other dubious sites. Research shows that users often visit wcontentdelivery.info inadvertently, since they are redirected by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) or intrusive advertisements displayed on other rogue sites.
Most unwanted applications infiltrate systems without permission. As well as causing redirects, they deliver advertisements and record user-system information relating to browsing activity.
What is AUDIT?
Discovered by Jakub Kroustek, AUDIT is a high-risk virus that belongs to the CrySiS ransomware family. Once a system is infected, this virus encrypts files and adds an ".AUDIT" extension (that contains an ID and email address) to each encrypted file.
For example, "1.jpg", might be renamed to "1.jpg.id-1E857D00.[payransom@qq.com].AUDIT" by AUDIT after encryption. It also creates a ransom-demand "FILES ENCRYPTED.txt" text file and displays a pop-up window.
What is cccmn?
cccmn is a ransomware-type virus that belongs to the CrySiS malware family. Following successful infiltration, cccmn encrypts most stored data and appends filenames with the ".cccmn" extension plus the victim's ID and developer's email address.
For instance, "sample.jpg" might be renamed to a filename such as "sample.jpg.id-1E857D00.[decrypt_arena@india.com].cccmn". Once encrypted, data immediately becomes unusable. Note that encryption is not the only cccmn feature - it is also designed to display a pop-up window and place a text file ("FILES ENCRYPTED.txt") on the victim's desktop.
