What is DictionaryBoss?

DictionaryBoss is presented as a legitimate browser toolbar that provides dictionary-related features (translation, spell check, etc.).

By claiming to enable useful functionality, DictionaryBoss often tricks users to install, however, this toolbar is classed as a browser hijacker and a potentially unwanted program (PUP). Be aware that DictionaryBoss commonly infiltrates systems without users’ permission, modifies web browser settings, and tracks users' web browsing activity.
