Lucky Bright Adware

What is Lucky Bright?
Developed by SuperWeb LLC, Lucky Bright is a deceptive app claiming to enhance the Internet browser experience by providing various useful features such as comparison shopping, display of coupons, and special deals/discounts available on various online stores - "We're passionate about improving web by providing the best tools to enhance the browsing experience, from searching the web to comparing online deals to find the best prices. We've combined all of our great ideas into the Lucky Bright product suite, a FREE set of tools that work to make your browsing experience... better!"
By giving these fake promises, Lucky Bright often tricks users to install and, therefore, this dubious app is categorized as adware and a potentially unwanted program (PUP). The reason for these negative associations is Lucky Bright's rogue behavior. This PUP infiltrates systems without users’ permission, continually tracks Internet browsing activity, and generates intrusive online advertisements.
Lucky Bright is gathers Internet Protocol (IP) addresses (to determine geographic location), unique identifier numbers, search queries entered into search engines (Yahoo, Google, Bing, etc.), website URLs visited, pages viewed, and other browsing-related data.
Some of this data can include personally identifiable information that SuperWeb LLC shares with cooperating third party companies. There is a high probability that this information will be misused to generate revenue, Thus, having an information-tracking app installed on your system can lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft.
In addition, Lucky Bright employs a 'virtual layer' to generate pop-up, banner, interstitial, transitional, full-page, search, coupon, and other intrusive ads. The virtual layer enables placement of third party graphical content on any website and, therefore, none of these ads originate from users' visited websites.
The ads conceal underlying content, thereby significantly diminishing the Internet browsing experience. Furthermore, some redirect to malicious sites containing infectious content - clicking them is risky and may cause further computer infections. You are strongly advised to uninstall Lucky Bright adware immediately.
Lucky Bright Privacy Policy statement regarding data collection:
We only share or sell your non-public personal information with non-affiliated third parties when we believe doing so is permitted by you or authorized by this Privacy Policy. In addition, the Company may share your personal information with our parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies without restriction.
This company has released several hundred potentially unwanted programs identical to Lucky Bright including, for example, Middle Rush, Wooden Seal, and Discovery App. All of these applications offer identical features, however, their purpose is to generate revenue for the developers.
Rather than enabling the functionality promised, they generate intrusive online advertisements and collect personally identifiable details. No applications developed by SuperWeb LLC provide any real value for users.
How did Lucky Bright install on my computer?
Lucky Bright is distributed using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling'. This method is essentially stealth installation of third party apps with regular software/apps. Research shows that many users do not express enough caution when downloading and installing programs - they rush these processes and skip virtually all steps.
For this reason, developers intentionally conceal rogue applications such as Lucky Bright within the 'Custom/Advanced' settings. Users who skip this section, often inadvertently install potentially unwanted programs.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
The key to computer safety is caution. Only by paying close attention during the download and installation processes will you be able to protect your system. Use the 'Custom/Advanced' settings, since all bundled applications (which are mostly rogue) should be cancelled.
