What is TermBlazer?

TermBlazer is a deceptive application claiming to provide a feature to allow Internet searches directly from any web page. This functionality may seem legitimate and useful, however, TermBlazer is categorized as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) and adware.

The developers of this bogus app employ a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling' (stealth installation of third party applications together with the chosen software) to install TermBlazer on systems without users' permission.

After successful infiltration, TermBlazer generates various intrusive online advertisements that often redirect to dubious websites containing infectious content. Note that clicking these ads (for example, banner, coupon, in-text, and search) exposes your computer to risk of infection.

Another important downside of this application is information tracking. TermBlazer continually monitors users' Internet browsing activity and collects various software and hardware information including IP addresses (to determine users' geographic locations), websites visited, pages viewed, search queries, browser type, operating system, and other computer settings-related data.

TermBlazer adware removal:

Windows 11 users:

Right-click on the Start icon, select Apps and Features. In the opened window search for the application you want to uninstall, after locating it, click on the three vertical dots and select Uninstall.

Windows 10 users:
