Perfect Navigator Ads

What is Perfect Navigator?
Perfect Navigator is an advertising platform used by many questionable websites that advertise dating services, potentially unwanted applications, dubious medicinal products, etc. This advertising platform is used as a monetization tool for various free browser plug-ins.
Perfect Navigator is not a stand-alone application, and therefore, if you observe intrusive online advertisements generated by this platform, you should check for any recently-installed suspicious browser extensions, since they are likely to be the reason for these unwanted advertisements.
The generated advertisements are not categorized as viruses or malware, however, they can lead to serious privacy issues.
In most cases, ads by Perfect Navigator redirect users to dubious websites - you are strongly advised to avoid navigation to these sites. Research shows that most users installed no browser extensions, and yet they still observe intrusive ads when surfing popular websites such as Google, Yahoo, Wikipedia, and so on.
Note that rogue browser add-ons usually infiltrate computer systems during download of free software from popular freeware download websites such as download.com, soft32.com, softonic.com, and many others.
Download clients (also called 'download managers', 'installers', etc.) are used to monetize these websites' free services and traffic by offering installation of additional programs together with chosen free software.
Many users do not pay close enough attention during download and installation of free software, and therefore, inadvertently install adware or malware, including browser plug-ins that generate Perfect Navigator ads.
There are many applications similar to Perfect Navigator. OffersByContext, Nav Links, InterYield, DailyOfferService, and Online Advertising Support are just some examples among many others. All of these advertising platforms deliver intrusive online advertisements (that appear on all websites visited) and are distributed together with third-party browser plug-ins.
Rogue browser plug-ins (that use the Perfect Navigator platform) present a virtual graphic layer on any webpage viewed and redirect users to advertised websites.
To prevent installation of PUPs that generate Perfect Navigator ads, closely follow each step of the free software download procedure - all offers to install additional applications should be declined. If you observe ads by Perfect Navigator, read the guide provided below and eliminate potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) that generate these advertisements.
