What is Share It All?
Developed by Creative Island LLC, the Share It All rogue browser add-on claims to improve the quality of users' Internet browsing experience by adding a website content sharing function. While this functionality may seem legitimate, be aware that this add-on is considered to be adware or a potentially unwanted application.
Share It All employs a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling' (stealth installation of additional programs together with the chosen software) to install on Internet browsers without users' permission.
After successful infiltration on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, Share It All tracks users' Internet browsing activity and generates intrusive online advertisements.
These intrusive online advertisements include interstitial, banner, in-text, text-link, and pop-up ads. There is a high probability that clicking these advertisements will lead to high-risk adware or malware infections. In addition, Share It all tracks users' Internet browsing activity by recording various software and hardware information, which may be personally identifiable.
For example: IP addresses, unique identifier numbers, geographic locations, URLs visited, pages viewed, cookies, and other similar details. This behavior may result in serious privacy issues or identity theft, and therefore, you are strongly advised to remove Share It All adware from your Internet browsers.
Share It All is similar to other rogue browser extensions claiming to enhance users' Internet browsing experience by enabling certain functions. Theater Mode, Tube Dimmer, and Search Highlighter are just a few examples amongst many others. None of these add any real value for the user - their purpose is to generate income by the display of intrusive online advertisements.
Commonly, users inadvertently install adware such as Share It All when downloading free software via 'download clients' on freeware download websites (for example, download.com, soft32.com, softonic.com, etc.) Download clients are used to monetize these websites' free services by offering installation of advertised 'legitimate' browser plug-ins together with the chosen free software.
Thus, reckless download and installation of freeware risks computer infection with adware or malware. This situation can be prevented by attentively installing free software and never accepting installation of any additional applications offered.
Furthermore, if you are installing downloaded software, select the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' installation options - this will reveal any hidden applications and allow you to remove them from the installation list. If you have already installed Share It All, follow this removal guide to eliminate the add-on from your Internet browsers.
