Spring Smart Virus

What is Spring Smart?
Spring Smart is a potentially unwanted application, which installs on users' Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox) without their consent using a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling'. Computer users often install this plugin when downloading free software.
The plugin claims to enhance users' Internet browsing experience by displaying website reviews and enabling multiple website search capabilities.
Note that while this added functionality may seem legitimate, in fact, this browser plugin is categorized as adware since it diminishes browser performance, tracks users' Internet browsing habits (recording the IP address, unique identifier number, operating system, browser information, URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries entered, etc.) and displays various unwanted ads (including search, banner, text link, transitional, interstitial, and full page ads).
Developers of Spring Smart release identical browser extensions under different names in order to avoid detection by antivirus and anti-spyware programs.
This fact clearly indicates that this plugin is deceptive, and thus, should be eliminated from your Internet browser/s. If you observe "Spring Smart ads", "Ads by Spring Smart", and "Spring Smart Deals" advertisements whilst browsing the Internet, your computer is infected with adware.
This browser plugin is identical to Kozaka, SkyWebber, and many other potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) created by Super Web LLC. These browser plugins add no significant value and cause intrusive ads, and moreover, installation can lead to identity theft.
To avoid installation of adware such as this, users should be attentive when downloading free software.
Today, most popular freeware download websites (such as download.com, softonic.com, soft32.com, etc.) use 'download clients' to monetize their free services by offering installation of advertised browser extensions (such as Spring Smart) when downloading free software from their websites.
When downloading free software, opt-out of installation of promoted browser plugins and other software by clicking on the 'decline' button.
When installing the downloaded free software, choose the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' installation options, rather than 'Typical' or 'Quick' - this step will reveal installation of any bundled browser add-ons. If you observe ads related to Spring Smart on your system, use the removal instructions provided to eliminate adware from your Internet browser/s.
