What is ZenDeals?
ZenDeals is a potentially unwanted browser add-on, which generates coupon pop-up ads when Internet users visit online shopping websites. This browser extension is compatible with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla FireFox. Note that whilst ZenDeals is not related to malware or virus infections, it is categorized as adware.
Commonly, Internet users install this browser plugin inadvertently without their consent together with free software downloaded from the Internet. Computer users should be aware that, today, the majority of free software download websites use 'download clients' - small programs, which manage the download process of the chosen freeware.
Download clients offer (some in a deceptive way) installation of additional browser add-ons, and if users are not attentive, they may inadvertently install potentially unwanted browser extensions causing pop-up ads, redirects, and diminished browser performance.
ZenDeals is not a virus or malware, however, it is adware, which installs on users' systems together with free downloaded software. If you feel that this browser add-on was installed on your Internet browser/s without your consent, you should eliminate it.
ZenDeals is similar to other coupon ads that generate browser add-ons such as LemurLeap, Lucky Leap, Trusted Saver, and many others. These browser extensions are distributed via a deceptive software marketing method called 'bundling'.
To avoid installation of ZenDeals or other similar potentially unwanted applications, users should pay close attention when downloading and installing freeware.
Always choose the 'Custom' or 'Advanced' installation options, rather than 'Typical' or 'Quick'. This will allow you to opt-out of installation of any promoted browser add-ons. If you observe ZenDeals pop-up ads, use the removal guide provided to eliminate this adware from your Internet browser/s.
