What is PUBG hack scam?
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is an online multiplayer game. Players can earn Battle Points (BP) or Unknown Cash (UC) by completing missions, matches, etc., and use them to change the avatar's appearance (buy skins, outfits) or purchase other items from the PUBG shop.
This scam website offers free PUBG currency (BP and UC) in exchange for certain information. You are strongly advised not to enter any details on this or other similar scam pages, since it can be misused for malicious purposes.
Research shows that this scam website offers certain sums of PUBG currency for signing up on bogus websites, downloading dubious applications, and providing personal information. The amount of PUBG game currency that users supposedly receive depends on what they choose to do in exchange.
It is possible that this website will open dubious web pages asking for sensitive information such as login credentials (email addresses, usernames, telephone numbers, passwords) or even credit card details.
It might also offer download of a supposedly "legitimate and useful" application, but actually goes on to download a browser hijacker, adware, or other potentially unwanted application (PUA). Do not download anything from (or through) this website, and do not enter any information on this page or others promoted by it.
Note that this is not the only website that offers cheats or hacks on competitive online games.

More examples of websites similar to this scam page are "Social Network Hacks", "Instagram Password Hack" and "Double Your Bitcoins". Using cheats, hacks provided by such pages is incredibly risky. Users who trust websites of this kind risk monetary loss, becoming victims of identity scam, losing access to personal accounts and experiencing other problems.
These websites are often promoted/opened by potentially unwanted applications that users install on browsers and/or computers inadvertently.
How did potentially unwanted applications install on my computer?
PUAs are often downloaded/installed together with other products. This deceptive marketing technique of pre-packing regular software with unwanted or malicious additions is called "bundling".
By rushing through download/installation of software (e.g. ignoring terms, skipping steps and sections, using "Quick/Express" settings, etc.) many users risk unintentionally allowing bundled content into their devices. Intrusive advertisements proliferate PUAs as well.
When clicked, the ads can execute scripts to download/install these applications without users' permission. Some PUAs have "official" download web pages from which they can be downloaded.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
Download software and files from official websites and via direct links. It is not safe to use torrent clients, eMule (or other Peer-to-Peer networks), third party downloaders, unofficial websites or other sources of this kind. Avoid third party installers. Check "Advanced", "Custom" and other settings, and decline offers to download or install unwanted software.
Do not click ads that are displayed on dubious websites, since they can open other untrusted websites or even cause unwanted downloads and installations. Remove any unwanted, suspicious applications (extensions, add-ons, and plug-ins) that are installed on the browser.
The same should be applied to programs of this kind that are installed on the operating system. If your computer is already infected with PUAs, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.
