What is Giphy Search?
Giphy Search is advertised as a search engine for GIF images, however, this app is classified as adware and a browser hijacker: it serves advertisements, collects information relating to users' browsing activities, and changes certain browser settings to giphy-search.best.
Commonly, users download and install adware unintentionally and, for this reason, Giphy Search is categorized as a potentially unwanted application (PUA).
Generally, apps that are classified as adware serve coupons, banners, surveys, pop-ups, and other types of ads.
