How to avoid being redirected to detailorproteradie.info

What is detailorproteradie[.]info?
Like many other websites of this type, detailorproteradie[.]info loads dubious content and causes redirects to other untrustworthy, potentially malicious sites. Some examples of other websites that are similar to detailorproteradie[.]info are secretvideos2020[.]com, glagolinius[.]com and mayfootekvideo[.]com.
Typically, people do not visit these sites willingly - they are opened by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) installed on the browser and/or operating system. PUAs force browsers to open dubious web pages, display advertisements and collect information relating to users' browsing habits.
When opened, detailorproteradie[.]info asks permission to show notifications. If allowed, it then loads dubious content or redirects visitors to a number (2-3) of other untrustworthy web pages. Its course of action depends on visitors' geolocations. Note that detailorproteradie[.]info states that visitors are able to continue browsing the site if they click the "Allow" button.
This is just one of many 'clickbait' techniques employed by dubious websites to trick people into allowing them to show notifications. Once allowed, they start to display notifications that contain dubious ads, links to untrustworthy websites, and so on. Websites such as detailorproteradie[.]info should never be allowed to show notifications.
These websites are often opened by installed PUAs, however, this is not the only problem with these unwanted apps. Most collect IP addresses, entered search queries, addresses of visited websites, geolocations and other information browsing data. Some PUAs also target personal, sensitive data.
The developers tend to sell the details to third parties (commonly, cyber criminals) who misuse them to generate revenue. Furthermore, PUAs can serve intrusive, deceptive advertisements. For example, coupons, banners, surveys, pop-up ads, and so on. People who click them are redirected to untrustworthy (potentially, malicious) websites.
Some of these ads might run scripts to download and/or install unwanted, possibly malicious apps. To avoid unwanted downloads and installations, problems with online privacy, browsing safety or even identity theft, we recommend that you uninstall PUAs immediately.

There are many potentially unwanted apps online. Most are advertised as legitimate, useful apps, however, few function as promised. PUAs are used by developers to generate revenue, and they deliver no real value for regular users. More importantly, they expose users to risk of a number of serious problems.
How did adware install on my computer?
Most people download/install PUAs through accidentally/intentionally clicked deceptive ads, which execute certain scripts, or when developers distribute them using the "bundling" method. "Bundling" is a deceptive marketing method used to trick people into downloading and/or installing PUAs with other (usually free) programs.
They include PUAs into the download/installation set-ups of regular software. In most cases, offers to download and/or install additional apps can be found in "Custom", "Advanced" or other similar settings of the set-ups.
Furthermore, many people download and install programs without changing the settings, thereby inadvertently allowing unwanted software to be downloaded and installed by default.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
Files and programs should be downloaded from official websites and via direct links. Third party software downloaders/installers, Peer-to-Peer networks such as eMule, torrent clients, unofficial websites and other channels of this kind should not be used to download or install software.
Check "Advanced", "Custom" and other settings of any download or installation setup. Dismiss any offers to download or install additional, unwanted apps before completing the process. Do not click advertisements that are displayed on dubious websites. They often open dubious, untrustworthy pages, and sometimes cause download/installation of unwanted applications.
If unwanted ads/redirects occur regularly, check for unwanted, unknown plug-ins, add-ons and extensions installed on the browser and remove them immediately.
The same applies to programs of this kind installed on the operating system. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
