How to remove redirects to and from ushwerallintra.info
Written by Tomas Meskauskas on (updated)
What is ushwerallintra[.]info?
Much like insertcoinage.com, farcaleniom.com, gooooodle.com and countless others, ushwerallintra[.]info is a rogue web page that presents users with harmful content and generates redirects to other untrustworthy, malicious sites.
Few users access these websites intentionally - most are redirected by intrusive ads or Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUAs) already present on devices. These apps do no need explicit user permission to be installed onto system. PUAs operate by causing redirects, delivering intrusive ads, and by monitoring users' browsing activity.
ushwerallintra[.]info first checks visitors' IP (Internet Protocol) addresses to learn their geolocations. Then, according to this information, users are redirected elsewhere and/or are presented with highly dubious content.
Furthermore, this website employs browser notifications, the consent option to which it disguises within 'clickbait' ("Please tap the Allow button to continue"). If consent to notifications is given, ushwerallintra[.]info begins running ad campaigns.
The intrusive ads it delivers (e.g. pop-ups, banners, surveys, coupons, etc.) are more than just a minor nuisance, they are also a threat to device health. When clicked, they can generate redirects to untrustworthy, compromised, deceptive/scam, and malicious web pages.
Some can even be triggered to execute scripts designed to download/install PUAs. As mentioned, unwanted applications cause similar redirects and run intrusive ad campaigns. They accomplish the latter by employing tools to enable third party graphical content to be displayed on any site.
Therefore, as well as carrying the aforementioned risks, these ads limit browsing speed and web page visibility (i.e., overlaying web page content). Most PUAs have data tracking abilities. They record browsing activity (browsing and search engine histories) and collect users' personal information (IP addresses, geolocations and other details).
This vulnerable data can then be shared with third parties and end up being used for criminal purposes. To summarize, PUAs can lead to browser and system infiltration/infections, financial loss, severe privacy issues, and even identity theft. Therefore, remove all suspicious applications and browser extensions/plug-ins immediately upon detection.

PUAs appear legitimate and offer a wide variety of "useful" and "beneficial" functions. They can range from easy access tools (e.g. emails, communication platforms, weather forecasts, etc.) to content providers (TV, movies, music, sports, etc.). Despite how good these offer may sound - they are too good to be real.
As the only purpose of PUAs is to generate revenue for its developers, all of their advertised features tend to be nonoperational. Rather than working as promised, PUAs cause redirects, run ad campaigns and track private data.
How did adware install on my computer?
The most common method of PUA proliferation is via the download/install setups of other software. The deceptive marketing method of pre-packing ordinary programs with unwanted or malicious content is called "bundling".
Rushing download/installation processes (e.g. ignoring steps, using pre-set options, skipping steps and sections, etc.) increases the risk of unintentionally allowing bundled software onto devices. Some of these apps also have "official" download web pages. Once clicked, intrusive ads can execute scripts to stealthily download/install PUAs.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
Research all content, before downloading/installing. Use only official and verified download channels. Do not use Peer-to-Peer sharing networks (BitTorrent, eMule, Gnutella, etc.), unofficial and free file-hosting sites, third party downloaders, or similar sources - these are classed as untrustworthy.
Treat download/Installation processes with caution. Read the terms, study all available options, use the "Custom/Advanced" settings, and decline offers to download/install supplementary apps, tools, features, etc.
Intrusive advertisements often seem legitimate and innocuous, however, they can redirect to various dubious web pages (e.g. pornography, adult-dating, gambling and others).
If you experience these ads/redirects, inspect the system and remove all suspect applications and/or browser extensions/plug-ins without delay. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
