What is seplumming[.]pro?
The internet is full of rogue websites similar to seplumming[.]pro. Other examples are pushmobilenews[.]com, renropsitto[.]info, and ticeroftertal.info.
The pages redirect visitors to other untrustworthy, potentially malicious websites. Most people do not visit seplumming[.]pro intentionally - they are redirected to it by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs). Users generally download and install PUAs inadvertently. Typically, PUAs deliver intrusive ads and record data relating to browsing activity.
If installed, PUAs force browsers to open seplumming[.]pro in a new tab or window. When opened, the site redirects to other (about two or three) untrustworthy websites that might contain malicious content. Redirects to and from seplumming[.]pro might lead to computer infections with malware.
Many PUAs deliver intrusive ads via tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site, thereby concealing underlying content of visited websites. If clicked, they redirect to dubious websites or lead to download/installation of PUAs.
Furthermore, many PUAs collect information such as search queries, URLs of visited websites, IP addresses, geolocations, and so on. They can also gather personal details. Developers of these apps generate revenue by sharing the data with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) who misuse it to generate revenue. You are advised to uninstall all PUAs immediately.

Typically, developers promote PUAs by offering "useful features", tools, and so on, however, they deliver no real value for regular users and have just one purpose: to help generate revenue for the developers by causing unwanted redirects, displaying ads, and collecting information. Furthermore, PUAs pose a direct threat to your privacy and browsing safety.
How did adware install on my computer?
Most users install PUAs inadvertently through intrusive ads that execute certain scripts or together with other software. Developers often use the "bundling" method - they use this deceptive method to trick people into downloading and installing unwanted apps through the set-ups of other software.
They hide related information in "Advanced" or "Custom" settings. This information is simply not properly disclosed, and people who do not check available settings often allow PUAs to be downloaded and installed.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
Use official and trustworthy websites to download software. Do not use third party downloaders (or installers), dubious pages, Peer-to-Peer networks such as eMule, torrent clients, etc. Install/download software with care. Do leave settings such as "Custom", "Advanced" and other similar parts of any setup unchecked (especially offers to download or install PUAs).
Remember that intrusive ads usually redirect to untrustworthy (or potentially malicious) websites. Do not trust ads that are displayed on web pages relating to gambling, adult dating, pornography, etc. If you continually encounter unwanted ads or redirects, check apps installed on your browser and remove all unwanted extensions, plug-ins, and add-ons.
The same should be applied to programs that are installed on the operating system. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
