What is clckworld[.]club?
Similar to dreamteammyfriend.com, allowpush.club, viralupdatestoday.com, and many others, clckworld[.]club is a rogue website designed to redirect users to other dubious websites.
Research shows that many visitors arrive at clckworld[.]club inadvertently - they are redirected by intrusive advertisements (encountered on other rogue sites) or potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) already installed on the system.
PUAs infiltrate computers without users' permission. As well as causing redirects, they deliver intrusive advertisements and gather sensitive data.
PUAs force-open new browser tabs/windows and redirect users to clckworld[.]club. Once opened, this site immediately determines the visitor's geolocation by checking the IP address. This is done to ascertain whether the visitor should be redirected elsewhere or presented with certain dubious content (or both).
In any case, visitors might encounter malicious content. Therefore, redirects to and from clckworld[.]club can result in various system infections. The same applies to intrusive advertisements. PUAs deliver coupons, banners, pop-ups, and other intrusive advertisements that can redirect to malicious websites and even run scripts that download/install unwanted applications.
Therefore, even a single accidental click might result in high-risk computer infections. Furthermore, intrusive ads are delivered using tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site - they often conceal underlying content of visited websites, thereby diminishing the browsing experience. Another important issue is data tracking.
PUAs gather IP addresses, website URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries, and other data relating to browsing activity. This information usually includes personal details that developers share with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) who generate revenue by misusing private information.
Therefore, information tracking can lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft. You are strongly advised to eliminate all potentially unwanted applications immediately.

There are thousands of PUAs, all of which share many similarities. By offering "useful features", PUAs attempt to give the impression of legitimacy and trick users to install, however, they have just one purpose: to generate revenue for the developers. Rather than giving any real value for regular users, PUAs cause redirects, gather data, and deliver intrusive advertisements.
How did adware install on my computer?
As mentioned above, PUAs usually infiltrate computers without users' consent, since developers proliferate then using intrusive advertisements and a deceptive marketing method called "bundling" (stealth installation of third party applications together with regular software).
Developers hide "bundled" applications behind various sections (e.g., "Custom/Advanced" settings) of the download/installation processes. Furthermore, many users often click advertisements and skip download/installation steps. In doing so, they expose their systems to the risk of various infections and compromise their privacy.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
To prevent this situation, be extremely cautious during the download/installation processes, and when browsing the Internet in general. Study each window of the download/installation dialogs using the "Custom" or "Advanced" settings. Opt-out of additionally-included programs and decline offers to download/install them.
Avoid using third party downloaders/installers, since they often include rogue applications. Software should be downloaded from official sources only, preferably using direct download links. Additionally, bear in mind that intrusive advertisements usually seem legitimate.
Once clicked, however, they redirect to dubious websites (gambling, adult dating, pornography, and similar).
If you encounter these ads/redirects, eliminate all dubious applications/browser plug-ins immediately. The key to computer safety is caution. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
