Spirationsstrated.club POP-UP Redirect
Written by Tomas Meskauskas on (updated)
What is spirationsstrated.club?
spirationsstrated.club is another rogue site that is very similar to other sites of this type. Some examples include clicktated.com, speed-open2-com.replyalert.net, and hesthenhepattont.club. The website redirects users to other untrustworthy, deceptive, or even potentially malicious websites.
In most cases, users visit spirationsstrated.club inadvertently - they are redirected by intrusive ads displayed on other rogue sites or by potentially unwanted applications (PUAs). Typically, PUAs infiltrate systems without permission, cause unwanted redirects, record information, and feed users with intrusive ads.
The installed PUA opens new browser windows/tabs and redirect users to spirationsstrated.club, which then redirects them to other dubious (usually 2-3) websites or displays deceptive content (depending on the user's location). In either case, users might be forced to visit malicious websites. Thus, redirects to and from spirationsstrated.club can lead to system infections.
Furthermore, most unwanted apps of this type deliver intrusive advertisements (coupons, banners, surveys, pop-ups, and so on). Once clicked, they cause redirects to untrustworthy websites or execute scripts that download and install other potentially unwanted (malicious) programs.
Furthermore, these ads can be very annoying, since they are displayed via tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site and conceal underlying content. Information tracking is also a problem - most PUAs collect data such as IP addresses, URLs of visited websites, search queries, etc.
This data is shared with third parties (potentially cyber criminals) and often misused to generate revenue. Thus, having these apps installed poses a direct threat to your privacy and browsing safety. Some users might even become victims of identity theft. Therefore, we recommend that you uninstall all unwanted apps of this type from your computer or web browser immediately.

The list of potentially unwanted applications is growing daily. Most of these apps are very similar - developers offer 'useful' tools/features and attempt to give the impression of legitimacy.
In fact, PUAs deliver no real value for regular users and are designed only to generate revenue for the developers. Rather than providing the functionality promised, they cause unwanted redirects, gather various data, and deploy intrusive ads.
How did adware install on my computer?
PUAs can be downloaded from their official websites, however, lack of knowledge of these threats and careless behaviour by many users often leads to unintentional installation of various unwanted applications.
PUAs are often installed by clicking intrusive ads or when software developers use the "bundling" method, which is employed to trick users into installing PUAs together with regular software. Unwanted apps are usually hidden in "Custom/Advanced" settings (or other sections) of the download/installation set-ups.
In summary, developers avoid disclosing information about the inclusion of PUAs within set-ups. Therefore, skipping installation/download steps or clicking intrusive ads can lead to download/installation of various PUAs.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
Avoid downloading software (especially if it is free) from dubious websites, using third party downloaders, torrents, or other similar sources. Use official (and trustworthy) websites and direct links. Do not skip download or installation steps. Check "Advanced", "Custom", "Manual" and other similar options or settings of the set-up.
Opt-out of unwanted apps and only then finish the procedure. Bear in mind that intrusive often redirect to untrustworthy websites such as gambling, pornography, and adult dating. If you encounter intrusive ads or unwanted redirects to dubious websites, check your browser for any unwanted extensions, add-ons, or plug-ins installed.
Uninstall dubious entries immediately. Also apply this to unwanted programs installed on your computer. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.
