What is CintaNotes?
CintaNotes is promoted as an application that offers various useful tools and features, however, it is a potentially unwanted application (PUA) that is often installed inadvertently. This type of app delivers intrusive ads and collects user-system information.
CintaNotes is an adware-type application that delivers intrusive advertisements (such as banners, coupons, surveys, pop-ups, and so on). These are commonly displayed using tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site and conceal underlying content.
They are very annoying and might lead to various untrustworthy/potentially malicious websites or run scripts that download/install potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) or even malware (malicious programs) that could infect computers with high-risk computer infections.
Furthermore, as with many other PUAs, CintaNotes collects browsing-related data such as IP addresses, website URLs visited, pages viewed, search queries, and other data that might contain personal details. Later, developers share these details with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) who misuse private data to generate revenue.
Having this application installed could thus result in various privacy issues or even identity theft. We recommend that you uninstall CintaNotes adware immediately.

There are many adware type applications on the internet (including, for example, TigerTrade, HidenGate, and SystemNanoPacks) that are very similar or identical to CintaNotes. They are typically promoted by offering various "useful" features or tools, however, most are used generate revenue for developers and do not deliver the offered functions or give any other real value.
How did CintaNotes install on my computer?
CintaNotes can be installed by downloading it from its official website or together with other third party software. Developers often use a deceptive marketing method called "bundling", stealth installation of potentially unwanted applications such as the CintaNotes.
As a rule, developers hide these applications in the settings or options (such as "Custom", "Advanced", and so on) of the installation processes.
Therefore, these installations are not properly disclosed. PUA developers are aware that users often skip installation steps without checking these settings, and use this behavior to their advantage. Potentially unwanted applications can also be installed when clicking various ads, especially when visiting untrustworthy websites.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
Install software carefully. Do not skip installation steps without studying them carefully. If the software is free, then it is likely that it is also ad-supportive. Check the installation settings and options (such as "Custom", "Advanced" settings, etc.). Opt-out of unwanted extras and only then finish the installation.
Avoid downloading software from untrustworthy/unofficial websites (or other sources) or torrents. We recommend that you use official sources only. Do not click suspicious ads, especially if you are visiting an untrustworthy/unofficial website.
If you happen to click an intrusive ads that redirects you to pornography, adult dating, gambling, or other similar websites, close it immediately and remove any unwanted or suspicious extensions, add-ons, and plug-ins from your browser, and programs from your operating system.
If your computer is already infected with CintaNotes, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate this adware.
