What is netoffersonline.info?
netoffersonline.info is one of many rogue websites available on the Internet and identical to billmscurlrev.com, celeryleek.com, thesterminator.com, etc.
The website is designed to redirect users to various other rogue sites. In most cases, users visit netoffersonline.info unintentionally - they are redirected by potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) that infiltrate systems without consent. PUPs provide intrusive ads, run unwanted processes, and record sensitive data.
Once a PUP infiltrates the system, it starts to randomly open new browser windows and tabs, and redirects users to the netoffersonline.info website. Redirects to this website cause even more redirects (usually 2-3) to other dubious websites. It is likely that one of these websites will contain malicious content that might cause computer infections.
PUPs tend to provide intrusive advertisements that are displayed with tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site. These ads often conceal visited website content and significantly diminish the browsing experience. In some cases, clicked intrusive ads run scripts that download or install malicious software.
So, even a single click can cause high-risk computer infections. Potentially unwanted programs also collect information including, for example IP addresses, visited websites, search queries, and so on. It is possible that some of the collected data will contain personal details.
Furthermore, collected data is shared with third parties (potentially cyber criminals) who use the information to generate revenue. Installed data-tracking programs can also cause serious privacy issues or even identity theft. You are advised to uninstall these programs immediately.

In most cases, rather than providing the functionality promised, they collect information and deploy unwanted redirects/intrusive ads so that developers can generate revenue. Furthermore, there is a potential threat to your privacy and browsing safety.
How did adware install on my computer?
A number of potentially unwanted programs can be downloaded from official websites, however, many often download them by clicking on intrusive ads or skipping software installation steps. Developers often use a deceptive marketing method called "bundling" - stealth installation of PUPs with regular (usually free) programs.
They do not disclose information about PUP installations properly. They hide them in "Custom", "Advanced", and other similar settings of the installation processes. Developers know that many users skip installation steps and click various ads, and use this against them.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
Be careful when downloading and installing software or when clicking ads. Download software from official sources only and use directs links. Do not use third party software downloaders or installers, and avoid downloading software using torrents. When installing software, check "Advanced", "Custom" and other sections of the installation process.
Make sure that there are no checkboxes ticked by default, indicating that you agree to install unwanted software. Avoid clicking on suspicious ads - they usually appear legitimate, but once clicked, they redirect to untrustworthy websites such as gambling, pornography, adult dating, etc.
If you happen to encounter these redirects, immediately close the opened browser window or tab and uninstall any suspicious entries (plug-ins, add-ons, extensions, etc.) that might have been installed when visiting the untrustworthy website. Finally, have antivirus software installed and keep it enabled at all times.
