System Table Adware
Written by Tomas Meskauskas on (updated)
What is System Table?
System Table is a rogue application that supposedly allows users to change content on visited websites. This functionality may seem legitimate and useful, however, System Table infiltrates systems without consent, delivers intrusive advertisements, and records sensitive data. For these reasons, it is categorized as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) and adware.
Following infiltration, System Table delivers various intrusive advertisements. Coupons, banners, pop-ups, and other ads are delivered via tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any visited website. Therefore, displayed advertisements typically conceal underlying content, thereby significantly diminishing the browsing experience.
Be aware that intrusive ads can lead to dubious websites and even execute scripts that stealthily download and install PUPs/malware. Therefore, even a single click might result in high-risk computer infections. As mentioned above, System Table also gathers information relating to browsing habits.
Collected data (IP addresses, search queries, URLs visited, pages viewed, etc.) typically includes personal details that are later shared with third parties (potentially, cyber criminals).
These people generate revenue by misusing private data. Therefore, having a data-tracking app installed on your computer might lead to serious privacy issues or even identity theft. We strongly recommend that you uninstall System Table adware immediately.

System Table is virtually identical to ImpaqSpeed, Weather For Chrome, Quick Searcher, and many other adware-type applications. As with System Table, all offers "useful functionality", however, these programs are designed only to generate revenue for the developers - false promises to enable useful functions are merely attempts to give the impression of legitimacy.
Adware-type PUPs deliver no real value for regular users, record personal information, and deliver intrusive advertisements, thereby posing a direct threat to your privacy and Internet browsing safety.
How did System Table install on my computer?
As mentioned above, System Table infiltrates systems without permission, since developers proliferate this potentially unwanted program using a deceptive marketing method called "bundling" and intrusive advertisements. "Bundling" is essentially stealth installation of third party programs together with regular software/apps.
Developers do not disclose PUP installations properly. All are hidden within various sections (usually "Custom" or "Advanced" settings) of the download/installation processes.
Furthermore, many users rush these procedures and skip steps - behavior that often leads to inadvertent installation of PUPs such as System Table. In this way they expose their systems to risk of various infections and compromise their privacy.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
The main reasons for computer infections are poor knowledge and careless behavior. The key to safety is caution. Therefore, pay close attention when browsing the Internet and downloading/installing software.
Be aware that intrusive advertisements typically seem legitimate, but once clicked, however, they redirect to gambling, adult dating, pornography, and other untrustworthy websites. If you experience these redirects, immediately remove all dubious applications and browser plug-ins.
Furthermore, carefully analyze each window of the download/installation dialogs and opt-out of all additionally-included programs. We also advise you to avoid using third party downloaders/installers, since developers monetize them by promoting PUPs. Software should be downloaded from official sources only, using direct download links.
