Dealclicks.us Redirect

What is dealclicks.us?
Identical to redirecting.zone, nametraff.com, goldoffer.online, and many others, dealclicks.us is a rogue website designed to redirect users to various other suspicious sites. Research shows that many users visit dealclicks.us without their consent - they are redirected by potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) or intrusive advertisements displayed by other dubious sites.
In addition, potentially unwanted programs typically infiltrate systems without permission and, as well as causing redirects, gather sensitive data and deliver intrusive ads.
Immediately after infiltration, PUPs start opening new browser tabs/windows and redirect to dealclicks.us, which, in turn, causes several successive redirects to other untrustworthy websites. At least one of these sites is likely to contain malicious content. Therefore, redirects to and from dealclicks.us might result in high-risk computer infections.
With regard to redirects, potentially unwanted programs generate coupon, banner, pop-up, and other intrusive ads. These can also lead to malicious sites and even run scripts that download/install malware. Therefore, even a single click might lead to computer infections.
Furthermore, intrusive ads are delivered using tools that enable placement of third party graphical content on any site. Therefore, they often conceal underlying website content, thereby diminishing the browsing experience. As mentioned above, PUPs gather various information that might contain personal details.
IP addresses, website URLs visited, pages viewed, queries entered into search engines, and other collected data is later shared with third parties. These people may generate revenue for the developers. Therefore, the presence of data-tracking apps might cause serious privacy issues. You are strongly advised to uninstall all PUPs immediately.

Research shows that all adware-type PUPs are virtually identical. Almost all claim to provide "useful functionality", however, adware-type apps are designed only to generate revenue for the developers, and thus deliver no real value for regular users.
Potentially unwanted programs pose a direct threat to your privacy and Internet browsing safety. Promises to enable various functions are merely attempts to give the impression of legitimacy.
How did adware install on my computer?
In some cases, PUPs have official download/promotion websites, however, due to the lack of knowledge and careless behavior of many users, potentially unwanted programs infiltrate systems without permission. Developers proliferate them using two methods: "bundling" and intrusive advertising.
Essentially, "bundling" is stealth installation of PUPs together with regular programs. Developers do not disclose these installations properly - they hide "bundled" apps within various sections (in most cases, "Custom/Advanced" options) of the download/installation processes.
Furthermore, many users rush these procedures and skip steps. They are also likely to click "tempting" advertisements. This careless behavior often leads to inadvertent installation of PUPs.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
The key to computer safety is caution. Therefore, pay close attention when browsing the Internet and downloading/installing software. Criminals invest many resources into intrusive ad design, and thus most seem legitimate. Once clicked, however, they redirect to untrustworthy websites such as gambling, adult dating, pornography, and so on.
If you encounter redirects to these sites, immediately remove all dubious applications and browser plug-ins.
Remember also to carefully analyze each window of the download/installation dialogs using the "Custom" or "Advanced" settings. In addition, opt-out of all additionally-included programs and decline offers to download/install them. Using a legitimate anti-virus/anti-spyware suite is also paramount.
