EasyEmailSuite Toolbar

What is hp.myway.com?
EasyEmailSuite is a deceptive application that supposedly allows users to access their emails. Initially, this app may seem legitimate and useful, however, EasyEmailSuite is categorized as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) and a browser hijacker.
There are three main reasons for these negative associations: 1) installation without users' consent; 2) modification of web browser options, and; 3) potential tracking of users' Internet browsing activity.
EasyEmailSuite hijacks Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox browsers and stealthily assigns new tab URL, default search engine, and homepage options to hp.myway.com. These changes are not very significant. The problem is that users are unable to revert them.
EasyEmailSuite browser hijacker is designed to reassign browsers' options every time attempts to change them are made. For this reason, users are unable to return browsers to their previous state. Users are forced to visit hp.myway.com website every time they open a new browsing tab, or either search the Internet via URL bar.
Such redirects significantly decrease web browsing quality. Users should also know that browser-hijacking applications are likely to gather information that might be personally identifiable. List of collected data types includes (but not limits to) IP addresses, URLs visited, pages viewed, and search queries.
If that wasn't enough, developers attempt to generate revenue by selling this information to third parties. These persons (potentially, cyber criminals) may also misuse received information with the intention of generating revenue.
Hence, information tracking may eventually result in serious privacy issues or even identity theft. For these reasons, you're strongly advised to uninstall EasyEmailSuite browser hijacker as soon as possible.

Mindspark Interactive Network (EasyEmailSuite's developers) have released dozens of browser-hijacking apps identical to EasyEmailSuite. WorldofNotes, RecipeHub, and YourTemplateFinder are only few examples from a long list. Notice that listed apps offer different functionality.
Nevertheless, all of them have identical behavior. Browser-hijacking programs are meant only to generate revenue for the developers. For this reason, they usually do nothing but cause unwanted redirects (thereby promoting various websites, most of which are fake Internet search engines), deliver intrusive online advertisements, and collect various information.
Fake Internet search engines often generate results leading to malicious websites. Aside from that they often contain dozens of intrusive advertisements. Bear in mind that intrusive advertisements (no matter if they're generated by potentially unwanted programs, or placed by website's developers themselves) may also lead to various websites.
In addition to that, ads might be designed to activate scripts that download/install malware. Hence, using fake Internet search engines and clicking on intrusive online advertisements may eventually lead to high-risk adware or malware infections.
How did EasyEmailSuite install on my computer?
EasyEmailSuite is free for anyone to download at it's official website. Yet it is also distributed using a deceptive marketing method called "bundling". For this reason, users often install EasyEmailSuite inadvertently, without their consent. "Bundling" is an undercover installation of third party applications along with the regular ones.
Developers know that users often recklessly rush download/installation processes and skip most of the steps. For this reason, bundled apps (e.g., EasyEmailSuite) are hidden within "Custom/Advanced" settings. Users who recklessly skip this section often end up unwillingly installing potentially unwanted programs.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
Users must know that PUPs are most likely to be distributed using either the "bundling" method, or intrusive online advertisements. For this reason, it is very important to be cautious when browsing the Internet.
To start with, users should always closely analyze each download/installation step (especially "Custom/Advanced" settings) and opt-out all additionally included programs. Furthermore, users should be very careful and never click on any displayed ad. The key to computer safety is caution.
