Text Enhance - how to remove this adware?
What is Text Enhance?
The Text Enhance browser plug-in displays text link ads. Whilst this is not malware, developers of this platform use deceptive advertising methods. Note that you may see Text Enhance ads even if you do not have this particular browser plug-in installed. This situation can occur when computer users download free software from the Internet, which is bundled with additional unwanted browser plug-ins, thus causing Text Enhance ads to appear. Many Internet browser plug-in developers add Text Enhance to their extensions for monetization purposes.
Some examples of browser add-ons known to cause Text Enhance ads to appear are Facetheme, VidSaver, I want this, and FB PhotoZoom. While Text Enhance ads are not related to malware, due to deceptive advertising, this browser add-on is categorized as an unwanted application. If you wish to eliminate Text Enhance ads from your Internet browser, you need to remove the plug-ins that cause them. The worst trait of this adware is that common antivirus and antispyware programs are unable to detect and eliminate it. Having Text Enhance ads and related add-ons installed on your computer is not recommended - clicking on such ads may lead to further system and privacy problems. Remove browser add-ons related to Text Enhance ads and eliminate the risks of installing additional unwanted software or even malware on your computer.
Text Enhance ads are not related to viruses, and are commonly a consequence of browser add-on installation. If you see these ads whilst browsing the Internet, check which specific browser plug-ins were installed on your computer. Eliminating them should fix this problem. Unwanted browser plug-ins are commonly installed on users' computers inadvertently when downloading and installing free software downloaded from the Internet. To avoid installation of unwanted browser toolbars and plug-ins which cause unwanted ads and redirects, always pay attention to each installation window of free software - disallow any changes to your Internet browser homepage, default search engine, or installation of additional add-ons. To remove Text Enhance ads from your Internet browser, use the removal guide provided.
