Uninstall apps that force browsers to open news-back.best and similar sites

What is news-back[.]best?
news-back[.]best is similar to sombes[.]com, cooperativasantamargherita[.]com, click-to-win-prize[.]com and a number of other rogue web pages that display dubious content or redirect visitors to other bogus sites.
Generally, users do not open sites such as news-back[.]best intentionally - in most cases, they are opened through clicked deceptive ads, other dubious web pages, or by installed potentially unwanted applications (PUAs). Note that PUAs often gather data and serve advertisements as well.
Typically, installed PUAs open pages such as news-back[.]best in a new browser window or tab. When visited, they load dubious content or redirect visitors to other (about two or three) dubious websites - this depends on the geolocations of visitors.
Sites such as news-back[.]best often deceive visitors into allowing them to show notifications using 'clickbait' techniques - it states that visitors can continue browsing only by clicking the "Allow" button (which allows it to show notifications).
Generally, websites such as news-back[.]best display notifications containing links to other untrusted pages, deceptive ads, and other dubious content. You are strongly advised not to give any such permissions.
Furthermore, PUAs can be designed to serve ads (for example, coupons, banners, surveys, pop-ups) that promote untrusted, often deceptive pages, or even execute scripts designed to download and install unwanted software.
PUAs often track and record information such as browsing-related details, including IP addresses, URLs of visited pages, entered search queries, geolocations, etc. In some cases, they record sensitive information. The developers sell the data to third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) or misuse it to generate revenue in other ways.
This can cause problems relating to browsing safety, privacy, and some user might even become victims of identity theft. Therefore, remove all PUAs from the browser and computer immediately.

There are many PUAs on the internet that promote various untrusted, potentially malicious web pages. They are often advertised as useful, legitimate and supposedly include various features, improve the browsing experience, etc. In fact, most are designed only to feed users with advertisements, open dubious pages and collect user-system information.
How did adware install on my computer?
In most cases, PUAs are downloaded and installed through the set-ups of other programs - they are included as 'additional offers'.
These offers are listed in "Custom", "Advanced", and "Manual" settings. When users download and install programs without checking and changing the settings, they allow PUAs to infiltrate. This PUA distribution method is known as "bundling". In some cases unwanted downloads and installations are caused by clicking deceptive advertisements that execute certain scripts.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
You are advised to download all programs from official websites and via direct links. Other channels and tools such as third party downloaders/installers, torrent clients, eMule (and other Peer-to-Peer networks), unofficial websites, etc., are often used to promote various unwanted, potentially malicious apps.
Check all "Advanced", "Custom" and other similar settings and decline offers to download or install additionally-included apps before completing the process. Do not click intrusive ads that appear on dubious sites, since they can open other untrusted websites or even cause download/installation of unwanted applications.
Remove any unknown, unwanted/suspicious extensions, plug-ins and add-ons installed on the browser, and programs of this kind installed on the operating system. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
