Written by Tomas Meskauskas on (updated)
What is DynamicWindow?
DynamicWindow adware serves advertisements, collects various information and promotes the Safe Finder web page by opening it through akamaihd.net.
Apps of this type are categorized as potentially unwanted applications (PUAs), since users often download and install them unintentionally by clicking deceptive advertisements or downloading and installing software with PUAs included in the set-ups.
Apps such as DynamicWindow usually feed people with banners, surveys, pop-ups, coupons and other ad types. These might open untrusted or even malicious websites. In some cases, they cause unwanted downloads and installations by executing certain scripts.
DynamicWindow is capable of accessing private, sensitive information such as credit card details, telephone numbers, passwords, and other details. Developers can misuse this data by selling to third parties (potentially, cyber criminals) or in other ways.
The information could be misused to make fraudulent transactions and purchases, steal accounts, identities, etc. Therefore, DynamicWindow's users might become victims of identity theft, suffer monetary loss, experience problems relating to online privacy, and other serious issues.
Additionally, this app might record browsing data such as IP addresses, geolocations, entered search queries, addresses of visited pages, etc. Therefore, remove DynamicWindow from your browser and computer immediately.
