Stop pushworldtool.com from being opened by browsers

What is pushworldtool[.]com?
pushworldtool[.]com is one of many rogue websites that redirect visitors to other untrustworthy sites or load dubious content. Some examples of other similar sites are find-soulmates[.]com, best-girls-ever[.]com and hellopushworld[.]com.
Most people do not visit these sites intentionally - browsers usually open them when potentially unwanted applications (PUAs) are installed. PUAs display advertisements and collect user-system information.
Browsers periodically open sites such as pushworldtool[.]com in new browser windows or tabs. Once visited, they load dubious content or open other (about two or three) dubious, potentially malicious websites. These actions depend on the geolocations of the visitors.
Research shows that pushworldtool[.]com attempts to trick visitors into allowing it to show notifications. The site states that visitors are able to continue browsing if they click the "Allow" button, however, this is simply a 'clickbait' technique. If clicked, the button will allow pushworldtool[.]com to show notifications and probably will not load any useful content.
In any case, it should not be clicked, since pushworldtool[.]com will start to display notifications. These might contain links to potentially malicious web pages, dubious ads, etc. PUAs also deply intrusive advertisements such as coupons, banners, surveys, pop-ups, and so on.
People who click them are redirected to untrustworthy, potentially malicious websites or inadvertently allow the ads to run scripts designed to download/install unwanted, malicious software. PUAs also collect user-system information including geolocations, entered search queries, addresses of visited websites, IP addresses, and other browsing data.
Installed PUAs can record personal, sensitive data as well. Developers sell the information to third parties who misuse it to generate revenue.
They might also share it with cyber criminals. People who have apps of this type installed on browsers and/or operating systems are exposed to problems relating to privacy, browsing safety or even identity theft. You are strongly advised to uninstall all unwanted, suspicious apps immediately.

In most cases, people download and install PUAs unintentionally. Once installed, they deliver no useful features or any other value (despite developers advertising them as useful, legitimate apps). Most PUAs are designed only to perform actions to help the developers to generate revenue.
How did adware install on my computer?
In most cases, people cause downloads and installations of unwanted apps by clicking deceptive ads or when software developers distribute them using the "bundling" method. They use this method to trick people into downloading and installing PUAs together with other, regular software.
Typically, they include unwanted apps into the download/installation set-ups.
Offers to download and install PUAs can usually be found in "Custom", "Advanced", and other similar settings. Unwanted downloads and installations happen when people download/install their programs without checking and changing the settings, or when they click deceptive ads that execute certain scripts.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
Download applications from official, trustworthy websites and via direct download links. Do not use third party software downloaders, Peer-to-Peer networks such as eMule, torrent clients, unofficial pages or other similar sources. No installation should be made through third party installers.
Check any "Custom", "Advanced" and other similar settings of the download/installation setup and decline offers to download or install any unwanted programs. Note that many intrusive ads open untrustworthy websites. Typically, these ads are displayed on web pages relating to gambling, pornography, adult dating and other dubious sites.
Do not click these ads, since they might cause download/installation of unwanted applications. If your browser shows intrusive ads or causes redirects to untrustworthy websites, check the list of applications (add-ons, plug-ins, extensions) that are installed on the browser and remove any unknown, unwanted entries immediately.
The same should be applied to unwanted programs that are installed on the operating system. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
