What is henronundrin[.]pro?
henronundrin[.]pro is a rogue website similar to anwap-download.club, solo85.biz, veinlacrolat.pro, and countless others. It operates by generating redirects to other untrustworthy, malicious sites and presenting dubious content. Few visitors enter this web page intentionally - most are redirected by intrusive advertisements or Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUAs).
Note that these apps do not need express permission to be installed onto devices. PUAs cause redirects, deliver ad campaigns, and track data.
First, henronundrin[.]pro checks the visitors' IP addresses to learn their geolocations. Depending on this information, the website then redirects users elsewhere and/or presents them with potentially dangerous content. This rogue site also employs browser notifications, which, if allowed, deliver intrusive ad campaigns.
These ads are a safety risk due to the dubious/malicious web pages to which they redirect. Some intrusive ads can also execute scripts to automatically download/install PUAs. As mentioned, unwanted applications likewise generate redirects and run intrusive ad campaigns.
By enabling third party graphical content on any site, the ads delivered by PUAs can diminish the browsing experience (by overlaying page content). Some of these apps also have data tracking capabilities, which they use to collect users' IP addresses, browsing and search engine histories, geolocations, and personal details.
This sensitive data is shared with third parties (possibly, cyber criminals) seeking to generate revenue by misusing it. In summary, PUAs can cause browser and system infiltration/infections and lead to severe privacy issues (even identity theft). To ensure device integrity and user safety, remove all suspect applications and/or browser extensions/plug-ins without delay.

Nearly all PUAs shares certain traits. These unwanted apps typically appear highly legitimate and further lure users to install by offering various "useful" features, however, these features are rarely operational, as the only purpose of PUAs is to generate revenue for their developers.
Rather than delivering any real value, these applications cause redirects to untrustworthy/malicious web pages, run intrusive advertisement campaigns (pop-ups, banners, surveys, coupons, etc.) and gather private dat.
How did adware install on my computer?
Most PUAs are distributed through the download/installation setups of other software. This false marketing method of pre-packing regular programs with rogue software is called "bundling". By rushing through the download/installation processes (e.g. ignoring terms, skipping steps and sections, using pre-set options, etc.) risks allowing malicious content onto the system.
Some rogue apps have "official" download pages on which they are often endorsed as "free" software. Intrusive ads are also known to proliferate these applications. Once clicked, they can execute scripts designed to download/install PUAs without users' consent.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications
Use only official and verified channels to download software. Peer-to-Peer sharing networks (e.g. BitTorrent, eMule, Gnutella, etc.), unofficial and free file-hosting websites, third party downloaders, and similar sources are classed as untrustworthy. These channels are more likely to offer bundled or deceptive programs.
All software and content should be researched to verify its legitimacy, before downloading/installing. You are advised to treat download and installation processes with care. Read the terms, explore all possible options, use "Custom/Advanced" settings, and opt-out of downloading/installing additional apps, features, tools, etc.
Commonly hosted by compromised websites, intrusive advertisements typically seem normal and harmless and it is easy to be tricked into clicking them. In fact, these ads redirect to various dubious sites including, for example, gambling, pornography, adult-dating, and hundreds of others.
In you encounter ads/redirects of this type, inspect the system for suspicious applications or browser extensions/plug-ins and remove them. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
