Stop getting redirected to/from cudalbapt.com

What is cudalbapt[.]com?
Cudalbapt[.]com is classified as a rogue website. It shares many similarities with vinuser.biz, onlinecontent.fun, chanelets-aurning.com and thousands of others. It is created for the purpose of force-feeding users unreliable content and/or redirecting them to various untrustworthy and possibly malicious webpages.
It should be mentioned, that few visitors to this site ever encounter it willingly. Most get redirected by clicking on intrusive advertisements or by having it force-opened by PUAs (potentially unwanted applications). These rogue apps generate redirects, run invasive ad campaigns and track data.
What is of import, is that PUAs do not need express user permission to infiltrate their devices.
When visited, the first thing cudalbapt[.]com does is check visitor's IP (Internet Protocol) address. From said information it learns their geolocation, which is crucial in determining the website's further course of action. According to user's geolocation, it either redirects them elsewhere or presents them with dubious content.
The exact actions of cudalbapt[.]com are irrelevant, as visitors to it are guaranteed to encounter malicious content regardless. What is also pertinent to mention, is that this page employs browser notifications.
By hiding the consent option beneath clickbait (examples of which are: "Click here to view newest movie/TV/music/sport related content", "Tap 'Allow' to verify, that you are not a robot", "Your page is loading, press 'Allow' to continue" and etc.), it tricks users into allowing its notifications.
Once consented to, cudalbapt[.]com begins delivering intrusive advert campaigns. These ads redirect to compromised and/or malignant sites and some can execute scripts, designed to autonomously download/install PUAs. As previously mentioned, unwanted applications also generate similar redirects and can deliver invasive ads.
By employing a wide variety of tools, they enable third party graphical content. Hence, the adverts (pop-ups, banners, surveys and etc.) that they deliver can overlay webpage content and limit browsing speed. Some PUAs also have data tracking abilities. Information of interest being: browsing and search engine history, IP address, geolocation and personal details.
This vulnerable data is then used to perpetuate profit by being sold to third parties (not unlikely, cyber criminals). Therefore, undesirable applications can not only cause various system invasions and infections, but also lead to severe privacy issues (even identity theft).
To ensure device and user safety, all suspicious apps and/or browser extensions/plug-ins must be removed immediately.

There are thousands of undesirable applications out there, and their numbers are ever-growing. Most PUAs share certain traits, some are even identical. By offing a wide assortment of features, they lure users into allowing them into their systems.
However, it should be stressed, that the only purpose of these rogue apps is to create profit for their developers; to users they are worthless. And so, instead of having operational features, they generate redirects to sale-based/compromised/malicious websites, run invasive advertisement campaigns and gather sensitive intel.
How did adware install on my computer?
PUAs are spread through a deceptive marketing tactic called "bundling". This term describes packing (bundling) ordinary software with unwanted content. While opt-outs from these additions are often possible, due to user haste and/or inexperience they are seldom employed.
By rushing through installation processes (ignoring terms, skipping steps, using pre-set options, etc.) - users endanger their systems with possible PUA invasions. Another known proliferator of undesirable applications is intrusive advertising. Once clicked, these ads can execute scripts, designed to make rogue downloads/installs.
How to avoid installation of potentially unwanted applications?
All software should be downloaded from official and verified sources. It is ill-advised to use various third party downloaders, as they are more likely to offer bundled content.
It is recommended to read installation terms, study possible options, use "Custom/Advanced" install settings and opt-out/decline all supplementary offers (e.g. apps, browser extensions/plug-ins, tools, features, etc.).
Should users encounter suspicious advertisements and undesirable redirects, they are strongly advised to inspect their system and remove all dubious applications and/or browser extensions/plug-ins. If your computer is already infected with rogue applications, we recommend running a scan with Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows to automatically eliminate them.

How to avoid browser notification spam?
Internet users should be very skeptical when being asked to allow notifications. While this is a useful feature that allows you to receive timely news from websites you like, deceptive marketers frequently abuse it.
Only allow notifications from websites that you fully trust. For added security - use an anti-malware application with a real-time web browsing monitor to block shady websites that tries to trick you into allowing spam notifications. We recommend using Combo Cleaner Antivirus for Windows.
